Description

Artificial Intelligence is an area of computer science that emphasizes the creation

of intelligent machines that work and reacts like humans. Some of the activities

computers with artificial intelligence are designed for include: Speech recognition.

Speechrecognition, Learning, Planning, Problem solving. Artificial intelligence is a

branch of computer science that aims to create intelligent machines.AlsoIt has become

an essential part of the technology industry. Is a branch of computer science that aims

to create intelligent machines. It has become an essential part of the technology

industry. Knowledge engineering and Machine learning are both a core part of Artificial

Intelligence. Machines can often act and react like humans only if they have abundant

information relating to the world. Artificial intelligence must have access to objects,

categories, properties and relations between all of them to implement knowledge

engineering. Initiating common sense, reasoning and problem-solving power in

machines is a difficult and tedious task. Learning without any kind of supervision

requires an ability to identify patterns in streams of inputs, whereas learning with

adequate supervision involves classification and numerical regressions. Robotics is also

a major field related to AI. Robots require intelligence to handle tasks such as object

manipulation and navigation, along with sub-problems of localization, motion planning

and mapping. Research associated with artificial intelligence is highly technical and

specialized.
Scope and Limitation

Scope

 Breakthrough in Science-The scope of AI in science is the largest. AI will be able

to create science. AI is also being applied in related areas such as Manufacture and

Industrial uses.

 Business and Industries- Rather than serving as a replacement for human

intelligence and ingenuity, artificial intelligence is generally seen as a supporting

tool.

 Face Recognition-Authenticating personal content is not the only use of facial

recognition. Governments and security forces make use of this feature to track down

criminals and identify citizens.

 Various Jobs- It will help people to focus on the critical aspects of their job while

leaving the routine aspects to machines. Automation can range from data entry to

complete process automation.

 Emotion Bots- Tech has advanced in terms of Emotional Quotient. They are able to

understand the meaning from context and make intelligent judgments.

 Marketing and Advertising- The application of AI in sales and marketing seems a

definite, considering the fact that marketing professionals leave no stone unturned to

benefit their business. AI can increase the efficiency of sales and\marketing

organization. The focus will be on improving conversion rates and sales.

Limitation
 High Cost-Creation of artificial intelligence requires huge costs as they are very

complex machines. Their repair and maintenance require huge costs.

 No Replicating Humans-Intelligence is believed to be a gift of nature. An ethical

argument continues, whether human intelligence is to be replicated or not.

 No Improvement with Experience- Unlike Humans artificial intelligence cannot be

improved with experience. With time, it can lead to wear and tear. It stores a lot of

data but the way it can be accessed and used is very different from human

intelligence.

 No Original Creativity-Do you want creativity or imagination? These are not the

forte of artificial intelligence. While they can help you design and create, they are no

match to the power of thinking that the human brain has or even the originality of a

creative mind.

 Unemployment-Replacement of humans with machines can lead to large-scale

unemployment.Unemployment is a socially undesirable phenomenon. People with

nothing to do can lead to the destructive use of their creative minds.

Software Specifications

 Opencv(Facial Recognition)-If you mean a robot that can see and interact with

people, so you’ll have to integrate a camera to your robot a create some

computer vision software.

 Scikit-learn (Object Recognition)- focused on Machine Learning, e.g data

modelling. It is not concerned with the loading, handling, manipulating, and

visualising of data.

 Scikit-image- focused on Machine Learning, e.g data modelling. It is not

concerned with the loading, handling, manipulating, and visualising of data

 SLAM/SLAMcore (Navigation and Robotic mapping) -If you mean a robot

that can move, explore, and avoid objects and obstacles, then you have to create

a navigation and mapping software.

 Google Speech api-If you mean your robot should speak, you’ll have to do

some speech recognition software and speech synthesis. All you have to do

create a program to execute an action if the string contains a certain sentence.

 ROS-Robot Operating System Although ROS is not an operating system, it

provides services designed for a heterogeneous computer cluster such as

hardware abstraction, low-level device control, implementation of commonly used

functionality, message-passing between processes, and package management.

 MoveIt Library (Motion Planning Framework) -If you mean your robot should

pick up objects and manipulate them, so you have first to integrate an arm to

your robot (or a grasping mechanism), then you’ll have to create a program to

rotate the joints according to your need

Hardware Specifications
 See3CAM_CU55M- is the latest 5MP Monochrome camera in e-con Systems'

family of USB 3.1 Gen1 UVC cameras.includes a high level of SNR, which

guarantees low noise in all conditions and Near Infrared (NIR) responsivity,

which ensures amazing image quality in a variety of lighting conditions. Is a

breakthrough invention for industries such as Iris and Biometric Authentication,

Digital Microscopy, Biomedical Diagnostic Equipment, Barcode Recognition, and

other businesses that require acute magnification.

 YHD - 5300 Wireless Laser Barcode Reader Scanner-With simple installation

and wireless function, ideal for supermarket, shop, etc. Scientific internal

structure design enhances anti-knock function, which is unmatched by the

common wireless barcode scanner in the market.

 Intel Xeon Scalable processor(XeonGold)-The new Intel Xeon Scalable

processors deliver a 1.65x on average performance increase for a range of HPC

workloads

 Intel Xeon Phi processors- is the fastest processor the company has released,

and it's also their most expensive.

 IntelNervana(Unreleased)- As previously discussed, Intel Nervana Graph will

act as a hardware agnostic software intermediate language that can provide

hardware specific optimized performance.

 Intel FPGAs -FPGAs are natural candidates for high speed, low-latency

inference operations. Unlike CPUs or GPUs, FPGAs can be programmed to

implement just the logic required to perform the inferencing operation and with

the minimum necessary arithmetic precision.

 NeuromorphicChipsLoihi(Unreleased) - The 128-core, 14-nanometer Loihithat

draws inspiration from how neurons in biological brains learn to operate based on

various modes of feedback from the environment.

Peopleware
 Robotics Engineer -A specialist in robots or robotics.

 Machine Learning Engineer-They’re mostly responsible for building and

managing platforms for machine learning projects.

 Data Scientist-Are charged with collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large,

complex datasets by leveraging both machine learning and predictive analytics.

 Business Intelligence Developer-The primary objective of this role is to analyze

complex data sets to identify business and market trends.

 Research Scientist-These individuals are experts in multiple AI disciplines,

including applied mathematics, machine learning, deep learning, and

computational statistics.

Stakeholders as Peopleware

 SystemAnalyst-may serve as change agents who identify the organizational

improvements needed, design systems to implement those changes, and train

and motivate others to use the systems.

 Programmer-have to perform calculations and need to have good mathematical

skills to do so. They also need computer skills so that they can design and

develop relevant software.
