i2, Inc. Files Suit Against Palantir Technologies, Inc. Alleging Misappropriation of Trade Secrets Security Alliance Names i2

McLean, Va., (August 9, 2010) - i2, Inc., a leading provider of intelligence and investigation software solutions for Posted 17.11.10

Palantir Technologies, Inc. schemed to misappropriate i2 trade secrets including software programs and related i2 Advances Technology to
confidential information. In addition to claims for trade secret misappropriation, the complaint asserts claims for Tackle Information Sharing
copyright infringement and fraud, among others. The lawsuit, filed in the United States District Court, Eastern Challenges at All Levels of
District of Virginia, seeks damages and injunctive relief. Law Enforcement and

The suit alleges that Palantir built its business in part upon fraudulent conduct and the misappropriation of i2's Posted 26.10.10
confidential software and other trade secrets. As detailed in i2's complaint, i2 only recently discovered the
scheme to misappropriate i2's confidential software and other trade secrets which began in early 2006 and Boston Police Department
continues to this day. The complaint asserts that in early 2006, Shyam Sankar, while he was a Palantir and Orange County, Calif.,
employee, approached i2 posing as a representative of a Florida company called SRS Enterprises, LLC to obtain form First East-to-West

i2 software products are only made available pursuant to license agreements that contain strict confidentiality
and use restrictions. i2's license agreements, including those that SRS entered into, contain restrictions on the Information

The suit further alleges that Palantir, through employees such as Shyam Sankar and Dr. Asher Sinensky, used

products, utilities and features that were specifically designed to enable Palantir to unfairly, but more effectively,
compete with i2.

"We regret that we have had to take this action. It is a decision that we didn't take lightly; however, protecting
our Intellectual Property is a core tenet of our company," said Anthony Carty, chief financial officer, i2. "As

communities through the delivery of best of breed technology and service."

In addition to damages, the complaint seeks the return and cessation of use of its trade secrets and confidential
and proprietary information.

Others named in the suit include Shyam Sankar (Director of Forward Deployed Engineering at Palantir), Dr.
Asher Sinensky (a Forward Deployed Engineer at Palantir), SRS Enterprises, LLC and Nochur Sankar, a
principal of SRS.
