INTRODUCTION

Water is important for us people to survive our daily lives, we use it for hydration, bath,
cooking and etcetera. The water system of the Philippines is now having some problems
because of not well-maintained operation.

From this, we came up to to the project of having a water system that is powered by
hydroelectricity and Archimedes screw is the one to be powered by the said renewable
source of energy. As students and future engineers, we are going to innovate things to
make life better and easier.

For our starting point in this project, we decide to simply make a miniature of the whole
system for testing purposes. When the testing succeed, we are going to apply that in our
school for its project, "Gulayan sa Paaralan", as a help for the school project that is lacking
on water supply.

In the near future, our group wants to help those people who does not have water line
and nearby flowing bodies or seawater. It will be useful for them in a way that it will be
more easy for them to fetch water from any bodies of water.
 DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM
Our group knew some problems in the society and now, one of it is the topic of the
discussion: Problem in Water System.

According to water.org, out of 105 million Filipinos, nearly 7 million rely on

unsustainable water sources. Families without sustainable water source often spend their
significant time and energy just for collecting water.

As we observed our society, we conclude that one of the cause of this problem is the not
well-maintained operation of some water system. It might be some abnormalities as it
always malfunctioning.

Our group wants to help those people who lived nearby any bodies of water who does
not have water line.

 DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT

Our group aims to have an efficient water system for the people who are affected

by malfunctioned water system, the project also wants to help those person who does

not have water system for them to have a faster connection to water. It is possible to

make a water system using hydroelectricity as it is also the one to be used. It will be

convenient for the persons involve as they can save their energy for another work to be

done.

Our group is producing an eco-friendly and useful device for the ones who is in

need. The said device will be using a tube and hose as the tool to make the water be

elevated. And for the turbine to be used for generating hydroelectricity, we will use

dynamo. The said generator is accompanied with a water mill. The water mill will

produce kinetic energy which will convert to electricity.

We also provided a second model which is powered by saltwater and not flowing

bodies of water. It will use blade, wire, and lastly switch for the generator of the second

model. It is more simpler than the that of the first model as it uses more complex

machines.
 So all in all, our group will be having two ways for the water system. The one for

saltwater and one for flowing bodies of water.
