Aim:
- To design a architectural space as a better world dedicated to Kids
exclusively for their knowledge,informative learning, Fun and Enjoyment.

- To observe, study and analyze its space in relation with Architecture,

interior Design.

Need :
Parents shouldn’t tell children what or how to play, an expert said. “Adults look at
play as an opportunity not to do work, but for young children, it takes a lot for
them to try to do something that they’re really interested in,”

The forum organized by KidZania Manila, launched at Global City next year by ABS-
CBN Corporation subsidiary Play Innovations Inc.

According to De that, physical play is important for the development of a child’s

mind and body. Children also tend to play with objects such as puzzles and
blocks.

Symbolic play, meanwhile, is when children use paper, writing or art to express their
emotions. At some point in their lives, they will start playing games with rules, which
will allow them to learn things they need to follow.
These games usually work for older children, as younger children tend to make their
own rules.

When we tell our kids we’re going somewhere fun, the first thing they ask if its to a
mall. Sadly, this is a mall culture we’re in due to the extreme heat throughout most of
the year.

However, once in a while, going to the mall really does mean fun, and kids begin to
learn more than that in Kidzania

Scope and Concept

KidZania provides children and their parents a safe, unique, and very realistic
educational environment that allows kids between the ages of four to twelve to do
what comes naturally to them: role-playing by mimicking traditionally adult activities.
As in the real world, children perform "jobs" and are either paid for their work (as a
fireman, doctor, police officer, journalist, shopkeeper, etc.) or pay to shop or to be
entertained.

The indoor theme park is a city built to scale for children, complete with buildings,
paved streets, vehicles, a functioning economy, and recognizable destinations in the
form of "establishments"

From police officer to dentist to restaurateur, each KidZania offers nearly 100 role-
playing activities in more than 60 establishments with a range of difficulty to meet the
abilities and interests of every child.

Kids work to earn kidZos, KidZania's own currency, so they can pay for goods and
services in the KidZania city.

Pilots navigate airplanes, television anchors read the news, police officers perform
detective work and chefs cook up tasty food.

KidZania is a complete city with a hospital, fire station, beauty salon, bank, radio
station, supermarket, television station, pizzeria, theater, and much more. At two-
thirds their actual size, all facilities are designed to be 'just right' for children.

Getting started is simple: kids pick an occupation, learn about their job, don a
uniform, and start EARNING AND SPENDING KIDZOS...and having fun!.SCOPE OF
KIDZANNIAIN CHENNAI IS MORE DUE TO TO MANY FACTORS INSTEAD OF
GOING TO SHOPPING MALLS ALONE.

Objectives:
 To reflect the correctional approach in the design and layout of various
architectural & interior spaces.

 To create the built-environment with indoor and outdoor space to cater the
needs for the various categories of Kids

 To not only respond to the particular needs satisfying the kids but also in an
aesthetic, functional sense as per children psychology
