I. Objective:
At the end of 50 minutes, 100% of the learners are expected to:
1. Discuss appropriate activities during hot seasons in the Philippines.
II. Content:
Subject Matter: Appropriate activities during hot seasons in the
Philippines
Integration: ESP, AraPan, MAPEH ( Art)
Strategies: 7Es Learning Model, Cooperative Learning, Pictures Raffle

Materials: Manila paper, picture, overhead projector, box, envelope

III. Learning Tasks:

Elicit Materials
Minute To Win It Picture
Box
1. Divide the class into desire groups.
2. Each group has corresponding box with different
pictures
3. Place the box in front.
4. Members of the group will identify pictures in the box
showing appropriate activities during hot season.
5. The task should be done in 1 minute.
6. The teacher gives points to the group who finishes
first and identifies all pictures.

1. Group the class into desired groups.
2. Each group will be provided a bowl with questions
or answers
3. Group 1 will be the first to pick strips from the bowl. If
they will pick a question, the group will answer it.
However, if the group will pick is an answer, the
group will formulate a questions based to the
answer they have picked. The next groups will do
the same.
4. Let the pupils post the questions or answers in the
board and let them write the questions or answer
they have been formulated.
5. Desire points will be given respectively to the
answers or questions they have formulated.

The possible questions and answers in the bowl:

Question: What season that road improvements are


usually done?

Answer: During hot season, road improvements are usually


done.

Question: When will be the right season that a family will


have a picnic and travels?
Answer: The family could have picnics and travels during
hot seasons.

Questions: What are the common activities of the farmers


during hot season?
Answer: Farmers will harvest and dry crops during hot
season.

Presentation:

Present to the class that they will learn to to discuss


appropriate activities for specific seasons of the Philippines

Cooperative Learning: Manila paper


1. Group the class into desired groups. Pictures
2. There are boxes place in stations containing pictures Envelop
showing different activities. Only one picture
showing activity during hot season is place in each
box respectively.
3. Each group will choose the picture showing
activities during hot seasons.
4. Discuss about the activity and write it in the manila
paper.
5. Each group will proceed to the next box and do the
same.
6. Desired time will be given to proceed to the next
box.
7. If they are done, the manila paper will be post in the
board.
