1. LCD Display mode

1.1 Initial START Screen

1.2 Scanning mode

As a Normal display mode, each channel is scanned at 2-
Sec intervals and displayed.

1.3 Locking mode
With one click of MODE button, it changes to locking mode,
And continuously displays a specific channel.
LEFT button switches to previous channel, and RIGHT button
moves to the next channel.

1.4 All display mode
Pushing MODE button one more time in Locking mode changes
to All display mode, and displays the entire channel.

to Normal Display mode (Scanning mode).

The backlight of LCD is turned on with a push of button, and

To turn off, push Up button when it’s on.
The backlight of LCD gets automatically turned off If left idle
without any input of keys for two minutes.
2.System Setting Mode

Pushing SET button in LCD display mode changes to System Setting

Mode.

For configuration program for Service engineer, a batch setting is

allowed with communication port in PA-1100 using PC or Notebook
and exclusive RS-485 converter.

For the setting of several PA-1100’s when connection is

complete, the connection to Master must be removed.
When the connection to Master is not removed, with the conflict
of communication line, PA-1100 or the system of Master could
seriously be damaged.

Cursor starts at ”0,” and with a push of UP button, its value changes
in between 0~9.
With RIGHT button, cursor moves to the next location. Pushing SET
Button after setting the values of four digits, it enters into Setting
mode.

When Password differs from the set data, the above screen shows
and requests an input of password again.
2.System Setting Mode
Setting mode is divided in to the things to be set in PA1100 and
the things to be set in the own exclusive Configuration Program.

Things to be set in PA1100 are limited to the ID of instrument, Tank

Height of each channel, Specific Gravity, zero span value , AD
Value and offset value.

Pushing RIGHT button moves cursor to the right, and LEFT button
to the left. Pushing UP button changes cursor at its location to a
value between 0~9.
Input set value using RIGHT,LEFT button and UP button.
Pushing MODE button moves to the next channel setting screen.

2.System Setting Mode
For Zero value, use 4mA at an applicable channel, and for Span,
use 20mA and input the indicating AD value.

OS signifies offset, a value including dead zone

SG refers to Specific gravity.

SET button stores the set data as shown in the figure below.

CH1 Saved !!

Without pushing SET button, the set data is not stored and
maintains the existing value.
2.System Setting Mode

The ID of the instrument is only usable at the main body of

PA-1100. To set several PA-1100 instruments using own
configuration program, first, an ID must surely be given to the
instrument.

Input ID :00 (0~99)

The ID of the instrument can be generated up to no. 99, but by its

connected to 99 items.
