IT´S A GOOD DAY FOR A REVOLUTION

Carl Cox is the heavyweight champion of the electronic music scene. Always
willing to stand up for what he believes in: Freedom of expression for everybody
involved in the electronic music scene, on-stage and on the dance floor. The
Revolution Continues marks Carl’s 9th year at Space and the closing party on
Tuesday, September 21st promises to be one of the most memorable of the
season. An explosion of energy that will keep everybody on their toes until the
final note. Carl has pulled together yet another massive lineup of champion DJs
and performers, including Danny Tenaglia, Loco Dice, Elio Riso, Tini, Pako S
and Yousef. He is also bringing back his very own record label Intec Digital to
host the Red Room, with Jim Rivers, Tom Pooks and Jon Rundell. Everything
is in place to make this party a knockout including Carl’s heartfelt commitment to
his musical revolution. ”I live to play music. I give a little piece of my soul to the
audience,” says Carl. “I want to take the audience on a journey: Dancing, smiling
… It’s one of the best things I have to give; it’s part of my soul.” In keeping with
his revolutionary spirit, Carl has kept ticket prices down to 30 euros all summer,
making this one of the cheapest nights on the island.

Ibiza has always brought together people and artists from different walks of life
and from all over the globe to experience something extraordinary. With The
Revolution Continues, Carl and Safehouse Management seem to have struck a
real chord in the hearts of clubbers. This summer has seen record crowds and
the online buzz between clubbers has been phenomenal. “The Revolution
Continues is the best night on the island on Tuesdays without a doubt,” raves
Nicole Moudaber: “The DJs and the atmosphere have been incredible. I was also
very surprised by the number of people they had every Tuesday. Can't wait to be
back on them decks with Carlito again next year!!” According to Carl this has a lot
to do with delivering what you promise: “We’ve had a successful night because
we stick to what we do best, which is give value for money.” He continues,
“People are coming back because they’re big believers in our brand. We had a
phenomenal opening this year and we’ll have a great closing too.”

Carl has managed to break all barriers between music styles and between
clubbers and performers, allowing electronic music to reach new heights. This
was particularly evident this summer with a 12-week revolution that included
three new resident DJs – Nic Fanciulli, UMEK and Yousef – as well as renown
guests such as Pendulum, Dubfire, Josh Wink, Fedde le Grand, Green
Velvet, Monika Kruse, John Digweed and Fatboy Slim.

The Revolution Continues at Space Ibiza has claimed it´s place in the Ibiza
frontlines thanks to Carl’s reputation for inviting incredibly talented DJs who, like
him, have not forgotten the people who keep them on stage. Monika Kruse
credits the night’s success to Carl’s generous spirit: “It´s not just that this is one
of the best events on the island. It’s the special way that Carl treats the artists,
the guests and his team. You can feel that energy at every event and that makes
me keep wanting to come back.” Sadly, no one can change the fact that another
Ibiza season is winding to a close, but Carl’s closing night is a final call to arms
for those who feel driven by the need to rebel against the coming of winter and
the long wait for the first Ibiza opening parties in 2011.
