Nearpeer Freelancing Course

You have been given the access of two courses which are available on the Nearpeer.org study platform:
Freelancing and Graphic designing. You will have access of the course and instructor support for 40 days
starting from 20th July 2019.

Access of the courses have been granted to you against your registered email ID. Go to www.nearpeer.org,
Click Freelancing, Then Browse both courses.

Make sure you read the full description of each module inside course. It contains important information
and links to important documents.

Freelancing course will help you to know about different market prospects and will also expand your mind
towards different skills that you can think of selling. The whole course will be revolving around a single
point which is, how you can successfully earn on an online platform?

As you now know freelancing is all about selling your skill at some platform. If you do not have any skill,
then how can you be successful?

For Freelancing online, you need a certain skill to offer in the market. It can be any skill like graphic
designing, video editing, proofreading of texts, writing, voiceover, photo editing, data editing, PowerPoint
designing etc. You can choose to offer any skill that you have.

However, our purpose of offering graphic designing course are as follows:

1. Graphic Designing is a skill which is in extreme high demand in international markets on

freelancing platforms.
2. Learning graphic designing leads you to learn other skills like video editing and animation making
– again a high demand and high value skill.
3. A lot of students do not know this skill, hence this course.

Our instructor has taught photoshop in our course for beginners. However, you should not limit yourself
to Photoshop. For image designing, there are other software as well which are easier and you can learn
it very quickly. ‘Canva’ is an example. You can do almost every type of graphic designing through Canva.
It is the easiest tool and has almost all the templates and you just have to make the data entered.
The recommended YouTube channel link is given below. The instructor is very clear and has explained
pretty well through examples. You would really love to follow her instructions, SHE IS AMAZING!

While nearpeer is offering you a graphic designing course, there are other skills as well which you can
learn at your own from some recommended channels if you are interested. This will help you to increase
the horizon of your skills and to present more on the table at some international online freelancing
platform.

We can recommend you some playlists which you can watch to learn the multiple softwares. The
instructor is Imran Ali Dina, one of best graphic designer in Pakistan, who has an experience of 17 years
in his field. The courses have been taught by him and his channel has 276k subscribers. So you should
expect something great from him.
