Muusika (music) Pärt Uusberg Blessing in the Leaving Susan LaBarr, Text by Jan Richardson
Somewhere the original harmony must exist, In the leaving
hidden somewhere in the vast wilds. in the letting go
in earth’s mighty firmament, let there be this
in the far reaches of swirling galaxies, to hold onto
in sunshine, at the last:
in a little flower, in the song of a forest,
in the music of a mother’s voice, the enduring of love
or in teardrops – the persisting of hope
somewhere, immortality endures, the remembering of joy
and the original harmony will be found.
How else could it have formed the offering of gratitude
in human hearts – the receiving of grace
music? the blessing of peace.

Wade in the Water Arr. Rob Dietz Leron, Leron Sinta Saunder Choi
Wade in the water children Leron, Leron my dear,
God’s gonna trouble the water. blossoms of the papaya tree, with a bamboo basket,
Don’t you see that man all dress in red? he’d gather some fruits.
God’s gonna trouble the water. But when he reached the top (of the tree) the branch broke.
Well it looks like the children that Moses led. Oh, what a trick of fate, he had to search for another.
God’s gonna trouble the water.
Don’t you see that man all dressed in white? Wake up, neneng (a colloquial term referring to a girl)
God’s gonna trouble the water. let’s pick some tamarind fruits.
Well it looks like the children of Israelites. Take the bamboo baskets, to put the ripe ones in.
God’s gonna trouble the water. Upon reaching the top (of the tree) the branches swayed
Wade in the water children heavily.
God’s gonna trouble the water. Hold on tight, neneng, as you might fall.

The one I will love is a fearless man.

He had seven guns and nine knives.
The journey he will take is the distance of a table.
A plate of noodles is his foe!
