Trip Unit Toolkit Software
Note: Before installing a new version of Trip Unit Toolkit, please make sure to uninstall any
prior versions from your computer:

- For Trip Unit Toolkit version V3.0 or later, go to Control Panel -> Programs and Features,
look for Trip Unit Toolkit, right click and select "Uninstall”.

- For previous version of Trip Unit Toolkit (formerly known as EntelliGuard Manager TK), go to
Control Panel -> Programs and Features, look for EntelliGuard Manager TK Standard, right
click and select "Uninstall".

After uninstallation is done, go to <windows Drive> (where windows installed, typically C:\)
and delete the folder named GE Industrial Solutions.
These steps will guide in installing Trip Unit Toolkit software
1) Right click on Trip Unit Toolkit software setup file (installer) – select option as Run as
administrator
2) Trip Unit Toolkit – Install Wizard screen is shown. Choose the language for installation
from the drop down and click OK.

Click Next button

4) Trip Unit Toolkit - InstallShield Wizard screen of License Agreement is shown Read
through the license terms and select radio button on I accept the terms in the license
agreement

 Click Next button on License agreement screen

5) Now on Trip Unit Toolkit - InstallShield Wizard Screen Ready to Install the program is
shown

Click Install button on Ready to Install the Program screen

6) During installation, the installer tries to install the Virtual Com Port Driver

7) Click Next button on InstallShield wizard screen for Virtual Com Port Driver V13.1

8) Click Next button on Device Driver Installation wizard screen

9) Now Click Finish button on Device Driver Installation wizard screen

If the Device driver is already installed, cancel the Device Driver Installation wizard at
step 6, and click Finish to close the Device driver installation wizard.

 10) Wait for few seconds for the installer to complete the installation of Trip Unit Toolkit.

11) Click Finish button on Trip Unit Toolkit screen to finish the installation of the
Trip Unit Toolkit software.
