Your Honor, the witness Kriska Jayne Lasheras. 20 years old, single, a
resident of San Lorenzo Brgy. Kanlurang Domoit, Lucena City and
currently work as a saleswoman.

PROSECUTOR MAOG –
Your Honor, I am offering the testimony of the said witness, first, to prove
the material allegations in the Information; second, to identify the accused
in this case; And for other related matters, Your Honor. May I proceed,
Your Honor?

Q Madam Witness, are you the same Kriska Jayne Lasheras, who is the one
of the private complainants in this case?

A Yes, Ma’am.

Q And do you execute an Affidavit regarding this case?

A Yes, Ma’am.

Q If that affidavit will be shown to you, can you identify of the sad Affidavit?

A Yes, Ma’am.

Q I am showing to you this Sinumpaang Salaysay of one Kriska Jayne

Q You mentioned in your Affidavit that the victim in this case is your son, is
that correct?

Q And being a mother you are going to testify in favor of your child?

Q And that is because of your affection in your son?

Q And who actually, Madam Witness, called your attention when son was
wounded?

A I was present when it happened Ma’am.

Q When did these alleged incident transpire, Madam Witness?

A In front of our house Ma’am.

Q Were there several person at that time?

A Yes, Ma’am.

Q And who were those persons?

A The present were Donato Jael and my neighbor whom I forgot the name.

Q How long have you been living in the place where the alleged incident
transpired?

A Almost 30 years, Ma’am.

Q But you cannot recall the name of your neighbor, is that correct?

A I only remember the first name, but the family name I forgot Ma’am.

Q Madam Witness, when the alleged incident transpired, you did not seek
the help of the barangay officials, is that correct?

A Yes, Ma’am.

Q You mentioned, Madam Witness, that you know the accused in this case?

A Yes, Ma’am.

Q And why do you know him?

A He is my son-in-law Ma’am.

Q And who is the common-law-wife of the accused?

Q And you are not in good terms with the accused in this case, am I correct?

A Yes, Ma’am.

Q So, since the beginning of his relationship with your daughter, you are not
in good term with the accused?

A Yes, Ma’am.

Q And you objected to the relationship of you daughter and the accused, is
that correct?

A Yes, Ma’am.

Q And that is also one of the reason why you testify against the accused?

Q And did you personally seek the assistance of the police?

Q And there was a first fight between your son and the accused?

A Yes, Ma’am.

Q You are saying, Madam Witness, that it was your son who ran after the
accused and punched him?

A No, Ma’am.

Q Madam Witness, where did the first fight happen?

A In our house, Ma’am.

Q How far did your son run?

A Around 1 1/2 meters, Ma’am.

Q And none of your relatives nor one Ricardo Dalisay intervened?

A Yes, Ma’am.

Q And all the persons within the vicinity are your relatives?

A Yes, Ma’am.

Q And the accused was not accompanied by any other person?

A Yes, Ma’am.

Q Who pointed to the location of the accused to the police?

A The son of the accused, Ma’am.

Q It was the son of the accused who pointed the location of the accused to
the police?

A Pedro, Ma’am.

Q Were you present when Pedro pointed to the accused?

A I was not there, Ma’am

Q And who told you that it was Pedro who pointed to the accused?

A It was Pedro who told me that he pointed the accused to the police,
Ma’am.

Q And what occasion was happening at the time of the incident, which was
on June 16, 2018?

A No occasion, Ma’am.

Q And you will agree with me, Madam Witness, that there were persons on a
drinking session at that time?

A None, Ma’am.

Q Why is Ricardo Dalisay there, Madam Witness?

A He usually stays in our house, Ma’am

Q Madam Witness, where is your daughter Rosalinda now?

A She still resides in their house, Ma’am.

Q Madam Witness, during the alleged incident, did any of your relatives seek
help from other neighbor?

A No, Ma’am.

to seek help from any of the persons or neighbors to stop the incident?

A Yes, Ma’am.

Q Who brought the victim in this case to the hospital?

A The person named Inggo, Ma’am.

Q And how are you related with this Inggo?

A A close friend of the family, almost a relative, Ma’am.

Q And you remained in the house at that time?

A Yes, Ma’am.

Q You did not come with this Inggo?

A Yes, Ma’am.

Q Despite the alleged severity of the injury?

A Yes, Ma’am.

After the termination of the testimony of kriska Jayne Lasheras, the Public
Prosecutor moved for a continuance. Let the continuation of the presentation of
prosecution’s witness be set on March 11, 2019 at 8:30 in the morning.
It is understood that with or without the additional evidence on the next
scheduled hearing, the prosecution will be resting its case.
