ADDENDUM – NOTICE TO CANDIDATES

Reference Union Public Service Commission’s:

(a) Advertisement no. 18/2019, Item No. 02 , Vacancy No. 19121802628, published on
28.12.2019 with the closing date of submission of Online Applications being 23:59 Hrs. on
16.01.2020 for Recruitment to 27 posts of Deputy Central Intelligence Officer (Technical),
Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs.

(b) Advertisement no. 13/2019, Item No. 03, Vacancy No. 19101303612, published
on 12.10.2019 with the closing date of submission of Online Applications being 23:59 Hrs. on
31.10.2019 for Recruitment to 13 posts of Joint Assistant Director, Directorate of Coordination
Police Wireless, Ministry of Home Affairs.

The Commission have decided to conduct a COMBINED COMPUTER BASED

RECRUITMENT TEST (CBRT) for short-listing the candidates for the above mentioned posts on
08.03.2020 (SUNDAY) (AFTERNOON SESSION) from 02:00 PM to 04:00 (CANDIDATE’S
REPORTING TIME AT EXAM CENTRE IS 12:30 PM) as under. Only those candidates
shortlisted in Combined CBRT and who fulfill all the eligibility conditions of the post shall be
called for interview.

(a) The test will be of two hours duration.

Kochi 24 a question, there will be no penalty for that question.

NOTE‐II: COMBINED CBRT AND THE INTERVIEW SHALL CARRY A 75:25 WEIGHTAGE FOR
THOSE CANDIDATES SHORTLISTED OUT OF THE COMBINED COMPUTER BASED
RECRUITMENT TEST AND THOSE WHO QUALIFY IN THE INTERVIEW.

Standard of suitability for the interview for candidates belonging to various

categories is fixed as under:

General/EWS Category : 50 and above

OBC : 45 and above (on relaxed standards)
SC/ST : 40 and above (on relaxed standards)
PWD (Gen/OBC/SC/ST/EWS) : 40 and above (on relaxed standards)

NOTE‐III: NO REQUEST FOR CHANGE OF TEST CENTRE WILL BE ENTERTAINED.
