Application Implementation
With the Update 19D planned for later this year, your environment will be updated to use Consultants
the new Unified Sandboxes exclusively. However, you can start using Unified Sandboxes
in Update 19C by opting in. Oracle strongly recommends enabling Unified Sandboxes
prior to Update 19D in order to gain familiarity with the new tool as soon as possible.

Here’s what you must do prior to Update 19D:

1. Finalize and conclude all development work in the classic sandboxes

» Delete or publish your existing classic sandboxes
» Save the list of previously published classic sandboxes for future reference. Unified
sandboxes UI does not display the published classic sandboxes.
» Do not plan new developments in classic sandboxes
» Phase out classic sandboxes
2. Opt-in to Unified Sandboxes
» IMPORTANT: Opting in requires deletion or publication of all classic sandboxes
you may be working in. Prior publishing of required classic sandboxes will avoid
loss of work.
3. Start using Unified Sandboxes!
