unless weather conditions are too severe for all performers to perform safely. Fair
management will make the final determination. Those interested in performing in the Talent
Show (herein referred to as “Performer”) must read the following Rules and Procedures, fill
out the Agreement and Performer Technical Requirements forms, and return them to the
Fair Office, Attn: Variety & Talent Show Committee, 1608 W. 16th Street, Port Angeles,
WA 98363, along with a CD, DVD, website address, and/or a web location to view the act
that will be performed at the Talent Show, by close of business August 3, 2015. (In the
event that a CD, DVD, website location, etc. cannot be provided contact the Fair Office at

1. A variety of entertainment is encouraged – singing, playing a musical instrument(s),

dancing, performing skits, magic tricks, poetry reading, stand-up comedy, juggling, or
any other unique talent! Performers may be solo, duets, or larger groups. Animal
performances are not allowed.

set-up/tear down plus a 5 minute performance for a total of 15 minutes.) Performances
over five minutes will be disqualified.

3. All performers need to attend the entire Talent Show.

4. The Fair is a family-oriented event. All acts, lyrics, dancing, costumes, attire,
language and behavior must be appropriate for all ages. Fair Management reserves
the right to immediately withdraw any Performer(s) that does not comply.

5. Any persons performing on stage will be considered part of the performance and will
be subject to all rules and judged accordingly. This includes live accompaniment.
A CD player will be available for anyone needing accompaniment.

6. Performers are allowed to perform twice, as long as the performances are unrelated
(i.e. music and a juggling act will be allowed; singing a solo and singing a duo will not be
allowed, etc.).

7. Performers must perform the same act as was performed in the audition. The results of
the Talent Show are final. Any materials submitted for the Fair for audition purposes
become the property of the Fair and will not be returned.

onto the Fairgrounds. Free parking is available.

9. All Performers must arrive at the Fairgrounds and check in with the Stage Manager at
the Wilder Auto Community Stage by 1:00 pm on the day of the show. If the
Performer does not check in at that time, they may not be able to perform. During check
in, the Performer will be asked to complete an index card with a brief introduction of your
act. Our MC will introduce the Performer(s) act. “Self introductions” are not allowed.
10. The Fair will provide certain equipment which is listed on the Technical Requirements
form. There will be a dressing area/prep area available behind the Wilder Auto
Community Stage.
