Monica California. Geary is known
for many buildings but locally his
work can be seen downtown on
grand Ave in the 2003 built Disney
Music Hall.

Key Architects and Buildings

Frank Lloyd Wright-Frank Lloyd Wright was an American architect, interior designer, writer, and educator, who
designed more than 1,000 structures, 532 of which were completed. Wright believed in designing structures that were in
harmony with humanity and its environment, a philosophy he called organic architecture.
Frank Geary -is a Canadian-born American architect, residing in Los Angeles. A number of his buildings, including his
private residence, have become world-renowned attractions.
Disney Music Hall- The Walt Disney Concert Hall at 111 South Grand Avenue in downtown Los Angeles, California, is
the fourth hall of the Los Angeles Music Center and was designed by Frank Gehry. It opened on October 24, 2003.
Zaha Hadid- was an Iraqi-British architect. She was the first woman to receive the Pritzker Architecture Prize, in 2004.
She received the UK's most prestigious architectural award, the Stirling Prize, in 2010 and 2011.

Greene and Greene- was an architectural firm established by brothers Charles Sumner Greene and Henry Mather
Greene, influential early 20th Century American architects. Active primarily in California, their houses and larger-scale
ultimate bungalows are prime exemplars of the American Arts and Crafts Movement.
Gamble House- The Gamble House, also known as the David B. Gamble House, is an iconic American Craftsman
home in Pasadena, California, designed by the architectural firm Greene and Greene.
