they’ll correct it with the teacher in the board.

5 min _ They will be introduce to the new unit “Reality and


Fiction” and to the sub-unit “The World of the Future”

While-stage 4 min _ They will talk about what they think about different
concept of the world in 100 years.

10 min _ They will learn the future simple form “will” trough a
PowerPoint presentation that it will set the context with
visuals, and elicit the sentence “The education will be
different”.

3 min _ Student will drill the model sentence chorally and


individually.

Post-stage 5 min _ They will put in practice the new structure creating
sentences with words given by the teacher.

Pre-stage
Battle Ship 15 min _ Student will play the game in pairs. They have to attack
their enemy ships by calling a square making a sentence
with the verbs and expression of future in the board game
using “will”

While-stage
Presentation 10 min _ Student will listen to the teacher to give a presentation
about “The Education of the Future” with the information
that they gave him the previous class. (PPP)
10 min _ Student will receive the script of the presentation and
they have to answer some questions about it.

Post-stage
Project 5 min _ Student will learn that they have to do a presentation
similar the one the teacher did. The topics will be given by
the teacher and they have to choose just one. Also, they’ll
know that they are going to work in the presentation next
class with the help of the teacher.

Closing
Concept questions 3 min _ Students will answer questions to check comprehension
of the task.

Pre-stage
Set general context 3 min _ Ss will look at some pictures of world legends and
explain if they were fact or just fiction. This is to introduce
the general topic area to create interest to specific topic.

Set specific context _ Ss will watch a video on modern myths and then try to
prove that the myth is wrong by themselves. This is to
focus Ss minds onto a particular area of the general
context.

Essential vocabulary 5 min _ Ss will be presented new essential vocabulary in context


and with flashcards

While-stage
Global/gist/prediction 5 min _ Ss will read the headings of the tape script and predict if
these statements are fact or fiction. This is to give Ss a
reason for their 1st listening task.

Gist task 5 min _ Ss will listen to the tape for the first time and compare
their predictions to the answers. This is to force Ss to
listen the text given. If is necessary they will listen for a
second time.

Ss check (peer teaching) 2 min _ Ss will compare their answers with their partner. This is
to give Ss confidence.

Teachers check (Class 3 min _ Ss will check the answers with the teacher and the whole
feedback) class. This is to clarify the answers

Detailed comprehension 5 min _Ss are given a set of multiple choice questions. They will
read the options before listening to the tape.

Detailed task 5 min _ Ss will listen to the tape script for the second time and
answer the multiple choice questions. This is to practice
listening for detail.
