5.

Codes and Standards:

5.1 All equipment parts, systems and works covered under this specification
shall comply with all currently applicable statutory regulations and safety
codes of the Republic of India as well as of the locality where they shall
be installed.

5.2 All equipment parts, systems and works covered under this specification
shall comply with all currently applicable International and Chinese
standards meeting or exceeding Indian standards.

5.3 In the event of any conflict between the applicable codes and standards
and the requirement of the contract, the requirements of contract shall
govern.

5.4 All the equipments shall conform the provisions of statutory & other
regulations enforce in India and / or the state where project is located
such as Indian Factories act, Indian Electricity (Supply) Act, Indian Boiler
Regulations (if applicable), Indian Explosive Act, Indian Electricity Rules,
International Electric Technical Commission (IEC) Publication,
Environmental Rules, “Central Electricity Authority (Technical Standards
on GRID Connectivity) Regulations” issued by Central Electricity Authority
and “Indian Electricity GRID Code” issued by Central Electricity
Regulatory Commission under Indian Electricity Act, etc.
