Pre-lesson: Pupils play a recap game where they line up in 2 to 4
lines in their class facing the board. Teacher shows a picture of a Pair/Group discussion
routine and pupils from each line must run to the board and write
the phrase. Teacher checks spelling before moving on to the next i-THINK
picture. Choose an item.
Lesson delivery:
1. Elicit adverbs of frequency by telling pupils about your daily
routine first.
2. Get pupils to share their daily routines using adverbs of
frequency.
3. Pupils copy the table in page 15 of the textbook in their exercise
book.
4. Pupils are introduced to the question patterns based on the
adverbs of frequency.
5. Pupils ask their groupmates using the questions write down the
answers in the table.
Post-lesson: Pupils are asked about the words that their friends
have mentioned but they can’t spell. Pupils are guided through the
spelling process as a class.

Pre-lesson: Pupils are introduced to a few pictures in a circle map. Think Pair Share
Pupils are divided into 3 groups where they line up facing the board.
Each person must run the board and write a word based on the
picture.
Lesson delivery: i-THINK
1. Pupils in their groups are given a picture from the board. Circle
Individually, they must come up with a sentence.
Example: I always brush my teeth.
2. One pupil from each group is called out to write their sentence on
the board.
3. Pupils are shown how to change a sentence to He/She and adding
the third person -s. Other pupils are called to change other sentences.
4. Pupils complete page 9 in Year 3 Complementary worksheet
Module individually.
Post-lesson: Pupils write their learning diaries for the week.
