Which life shall I follow?

What path should I take?

Should I go left or right?

And make the same mistakes.

Like I've done in the past.

Or should I move far away and start over again?

Because I'm a senior in high school and knew too much about the game.

The Lifestyle? The People? and even about the Money?

For me it all has to change.

So what do I do?

Because I've made big mistakes.

It's either this way or that way.

What more can I say?

I guess whatever comes down to it...

I'm going to change and make my grandma proud because she's up in heaven

With all the other angels like family members

I have lost in the past 8 years for goodness sake

So I guess I am going to change

But not for my own good

But for someone who always counted on me

No matter what mistakes I've made

Because in the end

I got a whole team up in heaven

Who want to see me make it

And when I hit that ball over the fence

You know I didn't do it for me

But for the loved onesWhen you look in the mirror do you see what I can see?

Your body and your spirit so unbreakable and free

When I look at every one of you, I hope you know I care.

I hope you know you're beautiful and not a soul on Earth compares.

All around us in this world we are mocked by our reflections

That only show the things we hate and show our imperfections,

But when you look a little deeper there is so much that you hide

That you don't need to be holding in and bottling up inside.

If you have a passion, let it out. It's been waiting so long to shine.

If you love something, let it show. This is your chance. This is your time.

If you want to be an artist or you want to travel to Spain,

Don't let anything stop you. There is no such thing as shame.

If you dream of being Buddhist or you want to play hockey someday,

Forge ahead and carve a path. Don't let anything stand in your way.

If you want to make world peace or be a therapist or play clarinet

Head right towards your future because you're not finished yet.

If you have something you're hiding, that you cover up in shame,

If you're straight or bi or lesbian or transgender or gay,

There is nothing to be hiding! Show them what they've never seen.

You can do it! Boy or girl or not or somewhere in between.

Because you're beautiful, yes you're beautiful. And that is what I know.

You are unique and you are loved, and it is time to let it show.

You are wonderful and beautiful and infinitely so much more.

Love is love! It doesn't matter what gender your heart is beating for

Your dream is out there waiting, and so many people want to help.

You can achieve it if you really believe it and if you believe in yourself.

P-R-I-D-E spells pride. I have pride in you and that's something I know.

You have so many wonderful things inside!

It's time to let them show!

Me, Myself and I

I LOVE MYSELF

With all my flaws

In my Beautifulness,

In my mistakes,

In my weakness,

In my darkness.

I love myself, because I am worth it.

I am a high power person who can move mountains with my love, thoughts and dreams

I am good, kind, funny, full of life and love, contagious with my explosive energy

Some things may be equally essential but nothing is more important than loving oneself

And at this moment the love I have for myself goes above and beyond.

It could reach the end of the universe if I just unwrap it

I love me in my inane, craziest, sanest, beautiful twisted, darkest and funniest way

I love me in a way that no one does

I love me in my fullest woes

I am everything that I can and will be

I am frightfully proud of my flaws and proudly wearing them as no one is perfect

This is the start of a new journey to me

The journey of love and self acceptance

The journey to fully embrace and value my own self

I allow myself to fall in my stupidest and biggest way, just to get back up and catch my breath again

Failure will not stop me but make me stronger

I am fully seeing me and smiling at my imperfected and distorted reflection

Hugging myself so tightly, refusing to let go

The more I am spending time with me,

The more and more my love grows

Is it bad for my health ? I do not think so.

It’s true, I am better, happier, more free, powerful, at peace

The sun is shining on me

I don’t need no help to be beautiful, ‘cause I’ve got me

I’ve got that uncontainable light from within me

I am smoldering a treasure, sharing laughter, joy and sadness with myself

I have learnt the phases of myself

So distant from that little insecure girl I used to know

As I allow her opinions to matter

I have accepted her difference

Her different kind of beauty, I have learned to love

This feeling of wholeness, self acceptance, comfort and love, is liberating

I wrap myself around my contorted and beautiful else to form a ME

As I am, Raw and Real

Definition of Rhyme Scheme

Rhyme scheme is the pattern of rhyme that comes at the end of each verse or line in poetry. In other
words, it is the structure of end words of a verse or line that a poet needs to create when writing a
poem. Many poems are written in free verse style. Some other poems follow non-rhyming structures,
paying attention only to the number of syllables. The Japanese genre of Haiku is a case in point. Thus, it
shows that the poets write poems in a specific type of rhyme scheme or rhyming pattern. There are
several types of rhyme schemes as given below.

Types of Rhyme Scheme

There are a number of rhyme schemes used in poetry; some of the most popular of which include:

Alternate rhyme: It is also known as ABAB rhyme scheme, it rhymes as “ABAB CDCD EFEF GHGH.”

Ballade: It contains three stanzas with the rhyme scheme of “ABABBCBC” followed by “BCBC.”

Monorhyme: It is a poem in which every line uses the same rhyme scheme.

Couplet: It contains two-line stanzas with the “AA” rhyme scheme, which often appears as “AA BB CC
and DD…”

Triplet: It often repeats like a couplet, uses rhyme scheme of “AAA.”

Enclosed rhyme: It uses rhyme scheme of “ABBA”

Terza rima rhyme scheme: It uses tercets, three lines stanzas. Its interlocking pattern on end words
follows: ABA BCB CDC DED and so on.

Keats Odes rhyme scheme: In his famous odes, Keats has used a specific rhyme scheme, which is
“ABABCDECDE.”

“A1bA2, abA1, abA2, abA1, abA2, abA1A2.”

The sun is shining bright

This is a lovely sight.

You are like a day of May

And I as worthless as hay.

This is poor Mr. Potter

Walking a road with his daughter.

Sometimes, your unspoken word

Is more important than that heard.

Little boy wants to eat cakes

Whenever he from sleep awakes.

I saw a tree that to God doth say

I want the Lord to accept my pray.

I think I can never see

Something as free as a sea.

After so many days of drought down poured the rain

It took so long is if came from Spain.

The green garden lets its shade fall

Over the red old school hall.

There flows the river

That’s amongst the greatest giver.
