Politics.

He died at Nov. 4 1969 in Morocco

Summary

Mullah Ibrahim teaches the religious beliefs of Islam in the seminary being built by the Caliph but his
work was thankless and ill-paid so he left and took a journey to the City of Baghdad where he lived all of
his life, hunger came to him but he prayed and sleep without eating. At the other day he saw a halwa
floating on the river then he grabbed it immediately but he wonder where is it came from and he begin
to explore. Ibrahim found the silver castle where the hilwa came from the Princess who had been there
for a long time because of King’s spell that was casted all over but Ibrahim got a help from the Jinns and
Adhem to break the spell. Ibrahim saw the Princess threw the package and Mullah knelt then told his
tale but he cried when he realized that he had been blind and that Allah surely gives food to everyone
but its uality and kind are dictated what you deserves.

Allusions:

The name Pallas and Seneca allude to classical figures: Pallas Athena and Seneca.

(Alluding to the beliefs written in the Muslim's Holy scripture Koran)

The men think of the convent women, in Biblical terms, alluding to Eve and Salome.

Synecdoche:

“Be the Furrow of His Brow”

“His Brow” ( refer to the whole , god)

Irony:

The halwa that he thought was just the bath waste of the princess that was not meant for feeding.

Theme

Hope and faith which deals with the divinity and religious beliefs towards God.

Universal Truth

God is merciful and a loving Father but we have a part and duties that we must fulfill through daily labors
to supply our needs.

21st Century Implications

Don't just sit and wait for miracles to happen instead work well to achieve the best destiny.

Faith without work is dead, so work with faith for bountiful harvest as you receive merit.

Life might be unfair but be fair with yourself because you know, you deserve more.
