Sun in general : Sun is deemed to be the King, chief or head among all
planets. It is the brightest of all planets and is the life giving planet. It is the
major cause of events on earth, all natural resources are directly or
indirectly related to Sun and Sunlight. Every planet revolves around the
SUN and therefore this system is called SOLAR SYSTEM and not Jupiter
system or Saturn system. It is not without any reason that in most lands
since existence people on earth are worshipping Sun. Sun is all known as
“Prana”(life-cum-soul).

In astrology Sun is neither wicked nor cruel. As a loving parent gives

punishment to an erring child, similarly, even when in an unfavourable
position, Sun doesn’t cause extreme damage, harm or hurt unless
accompanied by any hard planets. When alone it is rarely extremely harsh,
