As a maintenance supervisor in your factory, you are given a task to prepare a report and presentation slide
which contain information of simple DC and AC motors maintenance Standard of Procedure. You are required
to include in with the following information in your presentation slide
a. Measuring equipments
Explain the function, specification and calibration test, measurement safety
precautions of:
i. Multimeter.
ii. Insulation resistance tester
iii. Clamp meter

b. DC and AC motors :
i. List types of motor and typical applications.
ii. List part of DC and AC motors
iii. Conduct dismantling of motors to detect fault.
iv. Conduct re-assembles of motors.
v. Explain TWO (2) examples of simple repairs.
vi. Conduct testing of electric motors
