Cathay Pacific Latest Update

With immediate effect, the Government of the Philippines has issued restrictions for travel between Hong
Kong and the Philippines.

For Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon flights from Hong Kong to Manila, Clark, Davao and Cebu:

 Any person travelling directly from Mainland China, Hong Kong or Macao, regardless of nationality,
is not permitted to enter/transit through the Philippines. This includes passengers transiting Hong
Kong.
 Philippine citizens and holders of Permanent Resident visas issued by the Government of the
Philippines are exempted from this restriction and may travel.

For Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon flights from Manila, Clark, Davao and Cebu to Hong Kong:

 Under a temporary travel restriction, Philippine citizens are not permitted to travel to Mainland
China, Hong Kong or Macao. This includes Philippine citizens with Hong Kong as their destination,
and those travelling with onward connections.
 Non-Philippine citizens may continue to travel from the Philippines as normal.

Passengers on affected flights should NOT proceed to the airport. Passengers are advised to check their
booking arrangements via Manage Booking.

Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon passengers who are affected by these entry restrictions are entitled to a
full refund for all tickets issued worldwide on/before 4 February 2020 for Cathay Pacific/ Cathay Dragon
confirmed booking from 4 February 2020 to 29 February 2020. Please view our Special Ticketing
Guidelines below for further details.

Special Ticketing Guidelines for flights to/from the Philippines

Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon passengers who are affected by these entry restrictions, with immediate
effect, are entitled to full refund for all tickets issued worldwide (irrespective of fare type) on/before
5 February 2020 for Cathay Pacific/Cathay Dragon confirmed booking from 05 - 29February 2020

1. Cathay Pacific/ Cathay Dragon tickets

- Cancellation and Refund and Rebooking

Waive on rebooking, cancellation and refund charges.

For passengers not included in the mentioned travel restrictions, please refer to our special ticketing
guidelines for Hong Kong found in our website.

For rebooking, new travel date must be until 30 June 2020.

2. Asia Miles airline award tickets

3. Travel Agency issued ticket (eg Expedia, Kayak.com, Orbitz, Travix, Cheap-air etc)
Please contact your travel agent directly for refund. We will only entertain rebooking at a later date.
