PLAN

INTRODUCTORY  Prayer and Mood Setting


ACTIVITY  The teacher will post a word “ENTREPRENEUR” and
“COMPETENCY “on the board and ask the students
about their ideas towards the words posted.

 The teacher will divide the class into 2-3 groups and
each group will do the following:
ACTIVITY 1. On a colored paper the students will write at
least 3 characteristics of an entrepreneur should
have for him/her to be successful.
2. The group will assign 1-2 person/s to explain
their answers.

 During the lesson the students will be able to answer


the following questions:
ANALYSIS 1. What are the Personal Entrepreneurial
Competencies (PeCS)?
2. Why is it important to know the Personal
Entrepreneurial Competency (PeCS)?
3. How will these competencies improve the life of
a person especially to the entrepreneurs?

 Entrepreneurial Competency- It refers to the key that


should be possessed by successful entrepreneurs in
order to perform entrepreneurial functions effectively.

ABSTRACTION
1. Ability to Accept Change- A business owner should
cope with the changes in the business industry.
2. Profit-Oriented- The business entrepreneur generates
profit or additional income in his/her business.
3. Hardworking- The business owner should work
diligently and be consistent in improving his business.
4. Discipline- Successful entrepreneurs always stick to
the plan and fight the temptation to do what is
unimportant.
5. Decision Maker- An entrepreneur has an ability to
think quickly and make wise decisions towards a pre-
determined set of objectives.
6. Creative- An entrepreneur should incorporate his/her
own idea. It is an edge of an entrepreneur to the other
competitors.
7. Committed- A good entrepreneur accepts full
responsibility of everything in the business.
8. Planner- Involves planning strategic thinking and goal
setting to achieve objectives by carefully maximizing
all the available resources.
9. Self-Confident- An entrepreneur can cope with the
risks of operating in his/her own business.
10. People Skill- It refers to effective and efficient
communication and establishing good relationship to
the people working in and out of your business.

Contextualization/  By knowing the 10 Personal Entrepreneurial


Localization Competency, Do you think you will apply those
competencies to be a good entrepreneur in the future?

 The students will go back to their group on their first


APPLICATION activity and the teacher will ask them to choose at
least 1 of that competency that has been discussed
and does a role play about it for 5 minutes.
