Basic types of tobacco

Burley - Slow burning darker tobacco with a mild earthy taste
Cavendish - Very mild aromatic tobacco, blends of flue-cured Virginia and Burley with added flavorings
English - Blends of flue-cured Virginia and Oriental tobaccos, better suited for experienced pipe
smokers
Latakia - Fire cured black Oriental tobacco with a smoky aroma, used for flavoring
Maryland - Somewhat bland tobacco used to improve a blend's burning properties
Oriental - Also referred to as Turkish, somewhat richer tobaccos used for blending
Perique - Strong black tobacco fermented in its own juices, used exclusively for flavoring
Virginia - Golden-yellow, naturally sweet tasting

Peter Stokkebye Pipe Tobacco

Natural - PS#1
A light, loose and ready rubbed Cavendish blend
consisting of quality mild Flue-cured Virginia
tobaccos with some light Burleys.

Flavor/Aroma: The natural tobacco flavor of this

blend evokes a light, sweet aroma while being very
mild to the taste. Blends well with PS#21 Black
Vanilla, or enjoyable on its own.
Whiskey - PS#2
Mild ready rubbed Cavendish consisting of quality
mild Flue-cured Virginia tobaccoswith some light
Burley tobaccos.

Flavor/Aroma: Aged whiskey enhances the fine

tobacco flavor and aroma of this exceptionally mild
blend. Blends well with PS#28 Black Majesty, a
cherry-vanilla, or enjoyable on its own

Cherry - PS#3
Similar leaf selection as PS#1 and PS#2. Carefully
developed through the same Cavendish process.

Flavor / Aroma: This very mild blend’s sweet

aftertaste resonates with the superb flavor and
aroma of rich European cherry. Enjoyable on its
own.

Sweet Vanilla - PS#6

Ripe Virginias are added to Toasted Cavendish to
create a more complex mild smoking blend.

Flavor / Aroma: Elegant Vanilla with the natural

sweetness of Toasted Cavendish for a smooth and
rich smoke. PS#6 Sweet Vanilla is enjoyable on its
own.

Vanilla Creme - PS#9

Superior Zimbabwe Flue-cured tobaccos are mainly
used in our PS#9 blend. Also processed in a loose
Cavendish format.

Flavor / Aroma: The mildness of this blend’s

mellow vanilla flavor and aroma reflects its careful
aging in the essence of sweet vanilla. Can be
smoked on its own or blended with PS#24.
French Vanilla - PS#9F
Developed and processed with similar leaf tobaccos
as PS#9. One of our best selling tobaccos.

Flavor / Aroma: Twice as much vanilla flavor was

added to heighten the aroma and sweeten the taste
of this delightfully mild blend. Can be smoked on its
own or blended with PS#24.

English Luxury - PS#17

A characteristic English mixture. A mixture
developed from mellow Georgian Virginias, Black
Cavendish, Mexican Burleys and Cyprus Latakia –
a classic.

Flavor / Aroma: Non-aromatic, with a range from

mild to medium strength. The PS#17 English
Luxury is most enjoyable without further blending.

Black Vanilla - PS#21

Developed from mature Virginia, Java and Burley
tobaccos. Cavendished in our classic style.

Flavor / Aroma: A sweet aromatic essence

distinguishes this mild blend with savory taste and
flavor. Blends very well or enjoyable on its own.
B & B - PS#23
One of our top selling blends. Primarily a mixture
of Black Cavendish blended with light pressed
Burley tobaccos.

Flavor / Aroma: The pronounced flavor of sweet

vanilla lends an air of distinction to this mild and
tasteful blend. A fine blend on its own.

Nougat - PS#24
Our best selling pipe tobacco blend. Blended from
superior Golden African Virginias, Burleys and mild
Black Cavendish tobaccos.

Flavor / Aroma: Unique vanilla and chocolate

flavors elicit the excellent taste, aroma and smoking
quality characteristic of this mild blend. Enjoy
PS#24 on its own. Truly a delightful smoking
experience.

Pistachio - PS#27
Blended with the world’s finest quality golden red
Virginia tobaccos and a full touch of aromatic Black
Cavendish – “This great Dane doesn’t bite!”

Flavor / Aroma: This lively combination of vanilla

and pistachio flavors makes for one moderately
sweet, mild blend. An enjoyable smoking blend as it
is. Optional blending with PS#702 Pressed Burley.

Black Majesty - PS#28

Our mildest Black Cavendish blend. Additional
steam and heavy heat pressure create this light
aromatic blend.

Flavor / Aroma: Extraordinarily gentle cherry creme

extracts flavor this mild mixture with beguiling taste
and flavor. Blends very well or enjoyable on its
own.
Optimum - PS#31
One of our most successful blends. Developed from
the fields of Flue-cured tobaccos of Zimbabwe and
Malawi. Blended with sweet processed Black
Cavendish and mild Burley tobaccos.

Flavor / Aroma: Fanciful fruit and vanilla flavoring

awaken this mild blend’s outstanding taste and
evocative aroma. PS#31 Optimum is most
enjoyable without further blending.

Champagne - PS#35
Our 110th year anniversary introduction. Classic
techniques and modern technology have produced
the finest expression of Danish Tobacco
Craftsmanship. Developed from fine Virginia
tobaccos blended with Mexican Burley and topped
with 2 cuts of sweet Black Cavendish – a unique
masterpiece.

Flavor / Aroma: A subtle hint of French berries

captures the essence of this elegantly mild mixture.
Most enjoyable without further blending.

Heather Raspberry - PS#37

The basis of the PS#37 is our ever-popular mild
Black Cavendish. This combined with a right
proportion of Golden Virginia and light Burley
tobaccos.

Flavor / Aroma: This mild, sweetly aromatic blend

is alive with incomparable European raspberry
flavor. Enjoy PS#37 on its own.
Highland Whiskey - PS#38
Mild to medium Flue-cured Virginias from
Zimbabwe and the Carolina’s blended with sweet
Black Cavendish and a hint of toasted white Burley.

Flavor / Aroma: Generously laced with aged

whiskey from the Scottish highlands for a popular
flavor. A truly enjoyable blend as is.

Cube Cut - PS#41

An American blend of air-cured toasted Burley
leaves from Tennessee and aged red Virginias have
been Cavendish pressed for 36 hours.

Flavor / Aroma: Natural and mellow tobacco taste.

This blend has been processed and cut to be enjoyed
as is.

Swiss Delight - PS#42

Loaded with sweet rich Cavendish and top quality
Golden Virginias.

Flavor / Aroma: One of the richest blends we've

ever produced full of chocolate and vanilla. Most
enjoyable without further blending.

Mellow Mocha - PS#43

A combination of Golden Virginia Tobaccos blended
with mild Danish Dark Cavendish, Oriental and
Burley.

Flavor / Aroma: Coffee, vanilla and cream combine

for a rich, smooth blend. An enjoyable smoking
blend as it is.
Black Currant Cavendish - PS#45
A combination of Golden Virginia Tobaccos
blended with mild Danish Dark Cavendish.

Flavor / Aroma: Rich currant flavors and a hint of

green apple combine for a rich, smooth blend.

Black Truffle - PS#51

A superb combination of Golden Virginia Tobaccos
blended with mild Danish Black Cavendish,
Oriental and white Tennessee Burley.

Flavor / Aroma: Hand-blended with original sun-

cured Mexican Vanilla famous for its fine, mild
taste. Can be smoked on its own or further blended.

Proper English - PS#52

The most Latakia of any blend we make combined
with old belt Virginias and Orientals for a classic
blend.

Flavor / Aroma: This distinctive English/Balkan

blend produces a variety of flavors in a full-bodied
and very distinct blend. Most enjoyable without
further blending.
Mellow Mixture - PS#54
An elegant blend of very mature Golden Virginias
blended with two types of extra mild Black
Cavendishes for smoothness and then finished off
with a touch of Toasted Burley.

Flavor / Aroma: Exceptionally mild with a touch of

natural sweetness and finished off with a subtle
berry flavor. This blend is a real room pleaser.

Vanilla Gold - PS#200

We made a best-seller with this exceptional mix of
Zimbabwe Flue-cured tobacco.

Flavor / Aroma: This mild blend enhances the

smoking experience with the evocative flavors of
nut and vanilla. Enjoy Vanilla Gold on its own.
Truly a fine smoking experience.

Black Cavendish - PS#201

Intense steam and pressure unleash the light aroma
of this mildest of blends.

Flavor / Aroma: The sublime flavor of vanilla bean

extracts imbue this mixture with a deliciously mild
taste and aroma. This fine blend is ideal for either
enjoying as it is or for blending.
Natural Dutch Cavendish - PS#301
The finest qualities of our world-renowned Flue-
cured Virginia and light Burley tobaccos accentuate
the natural allure of our light loose and ready rubbed
Cavendish blend.

Flavor / Aroma: Exceptionally mild to the taste, this

provocative blend reawakens the senses with its
light, sweet aroma and natural tobacco flavor.
Outstanding for enjoying on its own, or as a
consummate choice for blending with a honey-
vanilla flavored tobacco.

Black Cherry Cavendish - PS#302

Extra casing sauce raises the natural nuances of our
classic Black Cavendish to phenomenal degrees of
mildness.

Flavor / Aroma: Pure European cherry lends its

irresistible enticement to the deeply penetrating
flavor and aroma that embody this blend’s
resoundingly sweet aftertaste. A natural Virginia
with some light Burley makes an exemplary blend

Peaches & Creme - PS#303

Flue-cured tobacco meticulously cultivated from the
fertile fields of Zimbabwe and Malawi are delicately
blended with sweet processed Black Cavendish and
mild Burley tobaccos to produce this singularly
superlative blend.

Flavor / Aroma: The extraordinary taste and aroma

of this delectably mild blend are alive with the
essence of pure peach flavor. No further blending is
necessary to experience this blend’s unparalleled
smoking pleasure.
Black Vanilla Cavendish - PS#304
An exceptional casing sauce accentuates the
characteristic mildness of this fine Black Cavendish
blend.

aromatic blend. Its mild, aromatic essence blends
magnificently with either a mild, Flue-cured

Cherry Bon Bon - PS#305

An additional casing sauce is used to underscore the
mellow mildness of our world-renowned Black
Cavendish.

Flavor / Aroma: The spectacular flavor and aroma

of European cherry blend lend an air of
sophistication to this blend’s agreeably sweet
aftertaste. Its mild, aromatic essence blends
magnificently with either a mild, Flue-cured
Virginia or some light Burleys.

English Oriental Supreme - PS#306

This classic blend brings together the finest mellow
Georgian, Virginias, Black Cavendish, Mexican
Burleys and Cyprus Latakia, while evoking an
exotic flair uniquely its own.

Flavor / Aroma: This distinctively non-aromatic

blend produces an astonishing array of refined
flavors ranging from mild to medium strength. No
further blending is necessary to appreciate the
splendid pleasures of this exceptionally mellow
blend.
Aromatic Dutch Slices - PS#308
This blend’s captivating mildness results from
subtly refining our most superior blends of Burley
tobaccos with the luxurious accents of Cavendish
processing.

Flavor / Aroma: This eminently enjoyable non-

aromatic blend is distinguished by its unpretentious,
pleasantly mild flavor. This blend’s mild qualities
make it an ideal companion for mixing with a
pistachio, a nutty/vanilla flavor and PS#31 as well
as our aromatic Cavendish tobaccos.

Luxury Navy Flake - PS#400

Very mature old belt Flue-cured Virginia’s spiced
with Louisiana Perique.

Flavor / Aroma: Non-aromatic, with a range from

mild to medium strength. To be enjoyed on its own.
Select 2 to 3 flake pieces and rub gently in your
hand prior to filling your pipe. Fill lightly into the
pipe and enjoy.

Luxury Twist Flake - PS#402

A pure Virginia blend from the best fields of
Zimbabwe and southeastern United States. The
blend is hand rolled into spun twist cakes, thereafter
Cavendish pressed and cut – one of a kind.

Flavor / Aroma: Lightly aromatic, with medium

strength. Twist Flake is most enjoyable on its own.
Select 2 to 3 slices – rub gently by hand and fill the
pipe lightly.
Bulls Eye Flake - PS#403
A blend of ripe Virginia tobaccos spiced with pure
Louisiana Perique. The center of Black Cavendish
smoothes out the taste. The outer blend is pressed
into thin layers before being tightly spun around a
stick of pressed Black Cavendish. The result is a
massive ‘cigar’ which is cut into ‘medallions’ and
packed.

Flavor / Aroma: Lightly aromatic, medium strength.

Most enjoyable on its own. Select 2 to 3 slices – rub
gently by hand and fill the pipe lightly.

Virginia Long Cut - PS#701

A superior bright pure Virginia blend mixed from 7
top Flue-cured Virginia tobacco grades.

Flavor / Aroma: Non-aromatic and mild in strength.

The perfect blending tobacco for our aromatic
Black Cavendish tobaccos – adds natural sweetness
to English mixtures

Pressed Burley - PS#702

A quality blend of fine Burley tobaccos – Cavendish
processed for extra mildness.

Flavor / Aroma: Non-aromatic and mild in strength.

Blends well with our aromatic Black Cavendish
tobaccos, and PS#27 Pistachio.

Orlik Dark Kentucky

Blending fine Black Cavendish with the irresistible
qualities of Kentucky Burley give this flake a look,
taste and feel uniquely its own.

Flavor / Aroma: This is a non-aromatic flake slice

cut, medium to full in strength. This premium blend
is to be enjoyed exclusively on its own. Simply
select 1 to 2 flakes, rub them gently in your hand,
fill your pipe and then relax in its distinctively
different flavor and aroma.
Orlik Golden Sliced
A touch of Burley adds zesty new life to the flavor
of Flue-cured Virginia flake slice cut tobacco.

Flavor / Aroma: This attractive, non-aromatic blend

encompasses a delectable span of flavor intensities
from mild to medium in strength. This premium
blend is to be enjoyed exclusively on its own.
Simply select 1 to 2 flakes, rub them gently in your
hand, fill your pipe, and then relax in its
distinctively different flavor and aroma.

Skandinavik Regular Cavendish

Toasted Burley tobaccos dominate this blend
supplemented with mild Virginia tobaccos. The
blend is pressed in cakes that are left to age before
cutting. After cutting, the tobacco is rubbed up to
facilitate easy filling of the pipe.

Flavor / Aroma: Skandinavik Regular is lightly

flavored with nutty notes that complement the
flavor of the high grade leaf tobaccos.

Skandinavik Full Aroma Cavendish

Mature Virginia tobaccos are blended with toasted
Burley tobaccos. The blend is pressed into cakes
that are left to age before cutting. After cutting, the
tobacco is rubbed up to facilitate easy filling.

Flavor / Aroma: Skandinavik Full Aroma is flavored

with full and sweet notes that enhance the flavor of
the high grade leaf tobaccos.
