Installation Guide
1. Select weighing area
2. Choose straight and level track, a minimum of one wagon length either side of the desired
position.
3. Avoid track bends.
4. No rail joints to be inside weighing area.
5. Track must be firm, tamping may be required before calibration.

6. Clean the area to be drilled

7. Remove any embossing carefully with a nose sander

8. Install drilling template.

9. Square all surfaces and lock the clamps into position.

10. Drill all holes in the template

11. Remove clamp, deburr and clean weighing area

12. Carefully move the weighing modules into position. Loosely install the sensors into position
using the template and drawings.
13. If drilling has been successful, the sensors will have a small amount of clearance
14. The installation must be exactly as described in the drawing. Sensors can not be installed into
a different position, the scale will not work correctly.
15. Once into position carefully torque the sensors to the drawing specification.

16. Check sensor positions

17. Carefully install the cover plates making sure none of the sensors or wires are touching the
cover itself.

18. Attach the proximity switches.

19. Check the height and distance from the rail and toe of each wheel. Use the packing shims to
adjust the width, the height is set by using the elongated slots.

20. Connect earth/screen cables to help reduce noise (see wiring drawing)
