Next is the medieval system of measurement.
It was an offshoot of the Roman System which was
a mixture of the Babylonian, Egyptian and the
Chinese systems.

scale/balance. It is the medieval unit of weight
approximately 328.9 grams.
The next one is the English system which is
used by Great Britain and its colonies. Some of the
units in English sytem are inch, foot, and yard.

Foot = length equivalent to 12 inches
Yard = the standard unit of length divided into
3 ft

metric system came about as a result of the French
