OFFICIAL PARTY STATEMENT NO 3. CONCERNING HON. RAPHAEL

TUJU’S HEALTH PROGRESS

The Party notes with great optimism that doctors managing the SG, Hon. Tuju
have started the process of weaning him off sedation and so far all indications
are that his injuries are healing well.

Notably, he is conscious and fully in control of his limbs just as he was when
he walked into the accident and emergency section of Kijabe hospital.

For the past 4 days Hon. Tuju has been immobilised to minimize aggravation
of the injuries he sustained and the doctors assure that everything is under
control and urge patience from all concerned.

The family through the party wishes to thank all those who have been praying,
sending messages of goodwill or encouraging them in one way or another.
They further wish to request that the patient be allowed more time to recover
before he can be visited.

The family wishes to reassure all that the patient is under very able hands of
both in-house and consultant health care givers.

All party activities at the secretariat continue to run uninterrupted through the
able leadership of the executive director assisted by the directors.
