 Divide the students into five groups and ask them to make a concept diagram about their knowledge
on economics
2. Analysis
 What is Economics?
 What are the divisions of economics?
 What scientific method is used in the study of economics?
3. Abstraction
 Economics is the study of how people and society end up choosing, with or without the use of
money, to employ scarce or limited resources that could be used in the production of goods and
services to satisfy human wants.
4. Application
 Why do we need to study economics as a consumer, as a citizen and as a worker or employer?
IV. Evaluation
 Discuss the definition of economics in your own words.

V. Assignment
 Research on the key elements of economic activity.
