3. Abstraction
Economics is the study of how people and society end up choosing, with or without the use of
money, to employ scarce or limited resources that could be used in the production of goods and
services to satisfy human wants.
4. Application
Why do we need to study economics as a consumer, as a citizen and as a worker or employer?
