Significance of Study

The significance of the study is to determine the Effects of


Inadequate Laboratory Facilities/Equipment to the Skill
Competency of SHS-TVL HE-BPP Students.
The study will serve as a guide to the Department of
Education and Batasan Hills National High School Senior High
School Department educators on the importance of using proper and
sufficient tools and equipment in the success of making quality
products in Bread and Pastry Production
This will also serve as the basis in passing for the National
Assessment wherein the Bread and Pastry Production NC II in now
calibrated and included pastry products that need refrigeration and
chilling. The findings of this study will benefit the following in order
to help the researchers to gather information about the study.
Teachers: The proposed study will help the teachers with
information and knowledge that will provide activities to enhance
and improve the performance of the students in their skills in
Technical Vocational Livelihood.
Parents: The proposed study will encourage the parents to monitor
and check their children to ensure a good performance in the

Scope and Limitation

The researchers would like to know the Effects of Inadequate


Laboratory Equipment to the Skill Competency of the Grade 11 TVL-
HE Bread and Pastry Production students of Batasan Hills National
High School-Senior High School 2019-2020.

Statement of the Problem

This study was conducted to determine the effects of in


availability of some laboratory equipment to the skill competency of
the students acquiring skills/competencies in Bread and Pastry
Production under the Home Economics Strand-TVL Track.
The grade 11 student of Bread and Pastry formulated the following
questions to determine the effects of inadequate laboratory
equipment to skill competency needed by the participants.

Research Questions
1. What happens to your baked product if not properly mixed
because of the in availability of mixer especially in baking
cakes and pastries? S
2. What happens to your icing/frosting when covering the cake E
when the icing was not properly cooled because of in N
