Activity 1. Determining an Outdoor Recreational Activity

Football and Soccer are activities done outdoor and on grass. Are they outdoor recreational
activities? Why or why not? Defend your answer.
Football and soccer are both considered as outdoor
recreational activities for these are being played outdoor and
at the same time, in playing these sports, players feel
pleasure and gratification. This is considered as an outdoor
recreational activity, these sports are two of the very
effective physical fitness activities. Thus, aside from
becoming happy in playing these sports, these also lead you
to become physically fit.

Activity 2. Choosing an Outdoor Recreational Activity

Given a chance, what outdoor activity would you like to try? Why? Where? Who do you like to be
with?
I would love to got Stargazing in Trysil, Norway with my friends. I
would like to see the Aurora Borealis and pretty much enjoy the view with
them. Stargazing not only provides enjoyment it can also help reduce
stress. Being one with the nature will be the greatest feeling along with my
friends. It's free yet amazingly refreshing.

Activity 3. Left a Trace

From your observation, whether first hand or from other sources (news, documentary shows,
narrated by friends, etc.), which among the Leave No Trace Seven Principles is usually not being observed
in the Philippines? Explain your answer.
I think the "Principle 3. Dispose of Waste Properly",
because in Mount Apo on 2013 there was a case of garbage
disposal as we can see in the picture. This causes trouble not
only to other hikers but also for nature. I think the cause is
lack of discipline of all the visitors. This causes improperly
disposal of garbage.
