OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able write 3 to 5 sentences on topics about themselves by answering 3 personal
related questions using the given format.

I. PRE-LESSON
Engage (5 minutes or less)
1. Teacher will greet and introduce herself to the class briefly.
2. Teacher writes the lesson’s objectives on the whiteboard.
3. Teacher will put an Instagram template on the board that contains the teacher’s profile. This profile will include name,
short caption about the teacher, and few pictures (that will be used in the next activity)

(Writing)
Pre- Writing (10 minutes)
Instructions:
a. Teacher will provide a set of list of ice-breaking questions called the Burning Questions.
b. Pupils will have the chance to ask only 3 to 5 questions to the teacher.
b. Each group must complete the Information Slip based on the Burning Question.
c. Pupils will participate in a Hot Potato game, whereby Teacher will play a song while pupils will pass a Hot Potato.
d. The pupil that hold the “Hot Potato” when the song stops, will have the chance to ask the Burning Questions.
e. Teacher will answer the question, and only the group ask the question can write the answer in the Information Slip.
9. After that, each group is required to present their paragraph in front of class.
10. Other pupils in class need to focus on every group presentation.
11. They must choose 3 suitable pictures on the board to match the paragraph.
Expand
Snowball Game. (20 minutes)
12. Teacher asks the pupils to form 2 lines on each side of class.
13. Each line will be standing up and face each other.
14. Pupils are required to bring a pen and a piece of paper.
15. Pupils must not write their names.
16. Pupils must write 3 things about themselves that nobody knows.
17. Pupils then must crumple that piece of paper and throw it to the opposite side like a snowball fight.
18. Then, pupils grab the closest “snowball” to them.
19. The pupils then have to present the content of the snowball and must guess who is the writer?
20. If they answer correctly, they will be given a prize.
