NEW YORK CITY SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS VERY CAREFULLY TO ENSURE THAT YOUR APPLICATION IS
COMPLETE UPON SUBMISSION!

1. This internship program is only open to rising Juniors, Seniors (Sophomores and Juniors at the time of
application) and current graduate students (May 2011 graduates are not eligible) at the commencement of the
program. Program costs will be $7,550 which includes internship placement, housing and enrollment in internship
course. These costs do not include airfare, food or incidentals.

2. One essay (750-word limit). Double spaced with 1-inch margins. Please include your name on all pages. Please address
all of the following topics in your essay:

a) How does the program relate to your future academic/career goals?

b) Discuss the importance of professionalism and personal accountability in the workplace.

3. Submit a 1-page resume. Highlight your activities on and off campus, along with your work experience.

4. 1 unofficial transcript or your most recent STARS report. It does not make any difference which one you turn in as
long as either document is most up to date.

5. 1 Annenberg reference form. It can either be given to you directly in a sealed and signed envelope from your
professor/TA or it can be mailed directly to the Annenberg Career Development office. Acceptable references include a
professor/TA or work/internship supervisors.

6. Application submission. Please submit your application by the deadline to the Annenberg Career Development Office.
If no one is in the office to take your application, please come back to submit it later and do not leave it unattended.
