Universal Design for Learning (UDL): Describe how you could address Universal Design for Learning principles
to extend and support the learning experiences for all students.
Research shows that Nearpod limits distraction and multitasking during a lesson by broadcasting content
and interactive learning activities/exercises to student devices in real-time which contributes to positive
learning outcomes.
Lesson idea implementation: As you address the standards, what will students and teachers do? How will
the project be introduced? How long will it take to complete? How will student learning be assessed? How will
the final product be used to inform/differentiate learning? How will you extend the student learning to a
higher learning level? How will you conclude the lesson? How will you provide feedback to students about
their work? MINIMUM 2 paragraph overview.
Students will be told the topic for the presentation which is healthy outlets for dealing with stress. Each
student will find an outlet that interests them, examples for this could be music, exercise, writing, drawing,
other forms of art, cleaning and so on.. After the students get their topic approved they will be able to
create their Nearpod presentation. In the presentation they must include the benefits of the outlet they
chose, and examples how that outlet can be used to manage stress. They also must include at least 3
interactive activities, this could be questions, games, drawings or any other activities offered in Near pod.

When the students complete their presentations they will submit them to the teacher to receive feedback,
and then go back in to edit and then, they will present their projects to the class and the class will
participate in their interactive lessons. After each lesson there will be a period of reflection and follow up
questions to evaluate how the students were effected, and what they can take away from the lesson.

Reflective Practice: After designing this lesson idea, how do you feel the activities you created could impact
student learning? You may have designed this idea as an introductory activity to a unit of study. With that in
mind, what could be done to further extend the lesson? Are there other technology tools that could further
enhance this project?
This lesson allows students to create content to be able to lead their peers in an interactive lesson. After the
