Journal of Environmental Chemical Engineering

Manuscript Office

Guilherme Luiz Dotto, Ph.D:

With this letter you will find the revised manuscript JECE-D-18-01823. Every comment

has been addressed. All comments and suggestions are numbered below, and our response

is included below each numbered comment. It should be noted that none of our scientific

conclusions have been altered and all of our quantitative results have been confirmed. We

agree with the reviewers that this makes the paper better and we appreciate the valuable time

spent by the reviewers.

1) Your Tables are given in 2 or more pages. Also, the layout of your

Tables is not good. You presented it such as a chart. Also some values of t

he Tables, seen that they were just copied from Statistical Software and pas

ted in the Tables of Microsoft Word.

Thank you for the suggestion, these proposed modifications were accepted
2) Your figures are making merchandise of the Software used for treatin

g the data.

The figures were taken from software, which was not cited in the text because of

minor importance. Although he did not quite understand his questioning, all the figures

were reviewed, checking to maintain a pattern.

3) English should be improved.

Thanks for the suggestion. All English has been reviewed by the university

professor kentucky, who is part of our research group. Actually she did envy some details,

including some figures with Portuguese subtitles that were corrected

4) All manuscript should be double spaced and written in times

new roman font.

All text checked and verified font and size

5) All figures with experimental points should contains error bars

Thanks for the suggestion. However the main objective of this research is to

establish a relationship between the variance of the experimental data reflected

through the process and the main response analyzed. The standard deviation bars are

very useful when you want to demonstrate the accuracy of the data found. Here in this

particular paper, we model this deviation in the form of variance, so I do not see the

need to incorporate the deviation into the data.

6) The same explanation of the previous item follows.

7) References are out of the JECE standard. Please see the guide of aut

hors (https://www.elsevier.com/journals/journal-of-environmental-chemical-

engineering/2213-3437?generatepdf=true)

References are in the JECE standard.

8) Please use an equation editor to write all the equations of this work.

The equations were copied and pasted from images and the resolution is not

good. Please use an equation editor such as MathType or Mathematics to

write the equations in the Microsoft Word File.

Thank you! The equations were formatted

9) Remove "x" or "*" from the equations, since it denotes a vector pro

duct.

I really do not understand the comment, I can not see where this identified problem fits

into a vector product. There is an equation that is a vector product, where "x" and "*" are

not found.

10) The units should be x y-1 and not x/y.

It was formatted

11) Lines have been removed
