Complete the Application form in full.

A list of relevant application Fees are available on the AIMS


website.

If you have indicated on your application form that you are paying
your fee online then proceed to the Assessment Payments
webpage.

Attach a certified copy of your qualification testamur(s).

What is a Testamur? You receive a Testamur upon graduation as


confirmation of the completion of a degree, diploma or certificate.
Step 4
Also known as a 'Degree certificate' or 'parchment'.

If you do not have your testamur, because your degree or diploma


has been completed but not conferred, you may attach a
statement of completion issued by your educational institution.

Attach a certified copy of your official academic transcript(s).


Transcripts must list the FULL names of your units.
Step 5
NOTE: graduates from AIMS accredited degrees do not need
to submit their syllabi/relevant unit descriptions.

Attach a certified coloured copy of your identification document,

i.e. your bio-data page of your most recent passport.

Attach a copy of your English Proficiency Test Report, either


IELTS (General or Academic), PTE Academic, TOEFL or OET.
Step 7
PTE Academic and OET test reports must also be submitted
online to the Australian Institute of Medical Scientists. The report
must meet the requirements listed in the Guidelines.

Step 8 Attach a certified copy of an employment verification letter for


each claimed period of relevant work experience. The letter must
include your position title, average weekly hours worked, a bullet
point list of duties required and the specific dates of employment.
The letter must be on company letterhead, signed and dated by
your supervisor or HR department officer, with the full name and

position title of the supervisor/HR department officer listed under


their signature.
Attach a passport size photo to the front page of your application

The AIMS National Office will email you confirming that we have

received your application.
The AIMS National Office will verify that your application has been
completed correctly. If your application has not been completed
Step 12 correctly AIMS will send an email to you or your agent explaining
the issues, and will hold your application (for up to 1 year) whilst
you rectify the issues.

The AIMS National Office will process the application fee if you
chose to provided credit or debit card details on your application
form.

Step 13 If the payment of the fee is successful your application is


submitted to the AIMS Assessment Committee.

At this point in the process you can request your AIMS


Assessment ID.

Step 14 Your Skills Assessment results will be written up in a formal Skills


Assessment Results Letter which you can submit to the Australian
Department of Home Affairs. If you are assessed as eligible for the
AIMS Professional Examination you will also receive a
Professional Examination Invitation Letter and a Professional
Examination Application Form.

The AIMS National Office will send an email confirming your


results have been posted to you or your agent (along with an
Australia Post tracking number).

In the case where you have requested that you will be organising
a courier to collect your results the AIMS National Office will send
an email to you requesting that you organise and pay for a courier.

If you were assessed as eligible to sit the AIMS Professional


examination then you must complete the application form and post
