How to Export Data in B Chemstation and OL CDS Chemstation

You can export Data from Chemstation one Chromatogram at a time using the export function.
1) Got to the File drop down menu
2) Choose Export File. This will open a side menu for choosing which type of file format you would like
to export.

AIA File: converts the file into standard AIA file format. The file ending with extension .cdf
CSV File: converts the file to Comma-Separated Values format. The file ending with extension .csv.
DIF File: converts the file to Data Interchange Fromat. .DIF format is accepted by spreadsheet
applications such as Microsoft Windows EXCEL. The file will end with .dif.

CSV Format
A Write to CSV window will open. This give you a choice of what type of data you want to export,
the name and path of the saved file, whether to copy the data to clipboard, and separator value.

1) Integration Results: Opens a window that allows you to choose which siganl you want
exported and which columns from the report. It desplays the file path and name at the bottom.

2) Calibration Table: Opens a window that allows you to choose which calibration information you
want exported and which peak types to show. It desplays the file path and name at the bottom.

3) Signal: Opens a window that allows you to choose which signal information and axes you want
exported. It displays the file path and name at the bottom.

4) Spectrum: Opens a window that allows you to choose which spectrum and axes you want
exported. It displays the file path and name at the bottom.

5) Calibration Curve: Opens a window that allows you to choose which compound’s calibration
curve information you want exported. Then a window opens for you to choose the siganl. It
displays the file path and name at the bottom.

6) Active Window: Opens a window that allows you to choose export the window which is currently
active. To make a window active, you click on it before opening Export File. The second
window displayed depends on which type window is currently acive. In this example, the an
overlayed chromatogram window is active. The file path and name are displayed at the bottom.

7) Table: Opens a window that allows you to choose registry you want exported. This is a feature
for an advanced user and rarely used. It displays the file path and name at the bottom.
