The thought behind Womenistan.

Firstly, we would like to thank you for taking out time from your
busy schedule for Inventive. I know there is a lot going on in your
professional life your next exhibition for ‘Womenistan’ will be in
U.A.E soon and your next project is also in the making.

Yes, it’s been a busy schedule but I’ve also wanted to sit and talk
with you as it was long overdue. It is a pleasure being here.

You’ve been recognized for your work worldwide, received

awards, and held your first exhibition. How does it feel to have
achieved all of this?

Well, as you mentioned. A lot has happened but if you honestly ask
me I think this is nothing. I’ve got much more to do. There are so
many more things I plan on doing. In despite of that I’m beyond
thankful as all of this has been overwhelming for me.
Your Womenistan project has been the talk of the town the past
month. Where did the inspiration behind this come from?
The inspiration behind this came from a lot of women in fact
everywoman who is strong, powerful and a fighter. Women who
work every day for making changes for not only women but for
everyone in despite of they’re gender.

What message did you want to portray through this project?

My main message was that women can do or be whoever they want

to be. I also wanted to add that there are women are doing their
fullest to make this world a better place who are not only talking
about women equality but are also working towards it.

What does art mean to you?

Honestly I think that there are times when speech fails. One isn’t
able to convey his thoughts through talking or writing. That is when
art comes in. Art is one of the strongest way of communication. Not
even a word occurs and the whole message is spread.

What is your technique behind any of your master piece?

The thought. What counts the most and is the most significant for
the end product is the thought. Where it started from what was the
initial idea. What came first and how it started.

What are the secrets behind your work?

Again as much as I want to say other things the truth is the thought.
The thought behind the project. What made me do that. The
thought or main reason behind the last product is what the real
essence of any successful project is.
Are you satisfied with the response?
If I was to be honest I’m grateful for the response however I wanted
to go further. I wanted a response from more people, people from
different gender, religion, and culture. As this inequality isn’t just in
Pakistan. It is a universal inequality. Therefore I wanted it to reach
around the globe.

What are your projects and plans?

Well now I plan on having two more exhibitions in the coming

month after that I have planned on having my three workshops. As
that is what has been on my mind lately.
