“No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have
called you friends, for all that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you. You did not
choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit
should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in My name, He may give it to you. These things I
command you, so that you will love one another. If the world hates you, know that it has hated Me
before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you
are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.”

There’s a Word for that! Plans

As educators, we are natural planners. Why not ask God to establish your plans?

Proverbs 16:9 – The heart of man plans his own way, but the LORD establishes his steps.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We are always in a hurry making plans, going
here, going there. Help us Lord to pray before we
plan our day, our lessons and our future. You have
given us a heart to plan and have called us into
education with the gift of planning, but we want
to yield our plans to You. Establish our steps Lord.
Y

Establish the work of our hands to bring You glory

and to draw others to You. Thank you for the gift
of education. We bless You and ask for all plans in
the awesome name of Jesus. Amen.

come to the kingdom for such a time as this?
Prayer, posture and Practicalities
1:16 PM prayer prompt – Please pray for wisdom in grading to know when to be firm and
when to be merciful.
Immediate prayer – Action Step #2– What does immediate prayer look like between colleagues?
If you are asked to pray for your colleague, by your colleague, pray immediately. If it is before or
after school it is free speech. If it is during the day and you are in a private place, pray right on the
spot for your colleague’s request in their presence. You will bless them mightily.
