PROJECT PROPOSALS - SUMMARIES

Groups research designs and build solar powered
cookers, from recycled materials. Possibility 1:
SOLAR POWERED
1 COOKERS
Competition between groups or between 9A v 9B for
most efficient, fastest, etc Possibility 2: Solar cookers are
used to prepare food for Día de la Imaginación
Teams/Groups research, design and build 4 wheeled
pedal cars, using entirely recycled materials, with the aim
of creating the most efficient, zero cost vehicles. Pedal
PEDAL CARS cars compete in a circuit race on the day of the Feria de la
2 FROM RECYCLED Imaginación, pedalled by students as well as visitors.
Winner is the car which completes the greatest number of

laps between 9:00am and 12:30pm. Laps could be
sponsored or paid for, in order to raise money for
community project???

bolsos, libros, etc., que pueden restaurarse
GRAN VENTA DE adecuadamente. Los estudiantes aprenden las habilidades

exploit the day of the Feria de la Imaginación to achievve
their goals.
Crear una historia o película de "Avatares" que tengan que
cumplir con ciertos retos para cumplir la transformación y
salvar su planeta o "Ir al futuro" para reflexionar el daño
6 AVATARES que causaría en algunas décadas si no implementams
medidas correctivas en el presente..... utilizando el reciclaje
como punto principal y conectando con el desarrollo
académico de las 3 materias.
PLASTIC Interactive exhibition of plastic recycling and re-use.
Research and implement different ways in which to re-use
7 RECYCLING AND plastic waste. Make samples (for sale?) and prepare
RE-USE presentations to show how plastic can be re-used.
