Segue to Evangelism
To evangelize is to be an advocate for a cause.
It is this:
Christ came to earth, died on the cross for our sins and on the third day rose to life.
With His resurrection comes our redemption. If we believe in Him, we will be saved.
Mark 16:15 “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.”
preach, evangelize, persuade, cajole, spread the word, convert, make see the light, agitate,
bend somebody's ear (Thesaurus: Microsoft Encarta 2007)
Ever since entering the portals of the church, we hear this often: Share Christ and
His message of salvation to your unsaved loved ones. We have been instructed to
do so, the importance of it magnified with the additional reminders that “We are
Christ’s ambassadors (2 Cor.5:20). “ We are to continue doing the work that Jesus
started here on earth – to reconcile men to God. We have been mandated to take
the “in it to win it” attitude.
