com munication/interfacing with above devices of AC coach.
h. It shall provide GPS based access to all the data at centr alized location and on
Mobile applications to be d eveloped by third par ty. Necessary hardware e xcept
central server will be in the scope of supply.
i. It shall be able to generate SMS tor following alarms in case of faults:

Alarms shall be delivered at lollowing three leveler-

a) Alarms Level-l (Supervisor l evel) shall be delivered immediate on
occurrence on faults.
b) t evet-u (Divisions) shall be delivered, if fault not corrected wiltl in 4
Days
c) l evel-III (HQ officials) shall be generated. if fault not attended within 10
Days.

7.3 Hardware requ iremen ts of Master co ntroller and LCD di spla y Unit :
7.3. 1 All materials used in equipment shall have tire retardant property. The housing of
mas ter controller and LCD display unit inside the coach shall be of robust and reliable
construction duly made from 0.8 mm thick C ACA sheet to IS: 513, Grade O. Processes
like ma chining, bending, spot weld ing etc. shall be adopted to ensure geometry of the
enclosure and the aesthetic look. The enclosure shall have no sharp edges and tapered
corner board shall be used . The enc losure shall be with anti-theft protection and anti-
vandal protection.
7.3.2 Master controller and LCD displa y unit shall be provided With mounting holes for fixing in
the MSSBC. The minimum size of the fixing screws shall be M 10 hexago nal head
screw.
7.3.3 All fasteners shall be of stainless steel conform ing to IS 1364 Pan 2. To the extent
practicable the screws shall work on tapped hole i.e. provision 01 loose nuts to be
avoided.
7.3.4 All the control connections, 10 Master controller & display unit, shall be terminated on a
cage clamp type or Mil grade connector and numbe red for eas y maintenance as
decided at des ign stage

7.3.5 The powe r connections to the terminal board for variou s units shall be terminated
properly taking into consid eration the creepage, clearances, sal ety etc. All the terminal
boards in the unit shall be of fire retardant FRP/SM C with 25 % glass content sell -
