Use:
This antenna is a replacement for the now discontinued Racal 85°
Dual band antenna, 85X4DF

This antenna is a 900 MHz + Wideband 1800 / UMTS and

therefore can be used for either GSM 900 + 1800 or GSM 900 +
UMTS operation. The antennas are available in both 2.0 and 2.6m
versions, with independent tilting of the GSM 900 and 1800/UMTS
bands. The antenna differs from the Racal antenna in that it is a 4
port antenna, GSM 900 on 2 ports, 1800 / UMTS on the second 2
ports. All connectors are bottom mounted. Space will be required
to mount MHA if deployed for UMTS, and feeder entry into
bottom of antenna and VET tilt mechanism.

All Kathrein antennas are supplied as manual tilt versions. Remote

operation will require the addition of 1 VET motor per band (i.e. 2
motors for this type of Multiband antenna) (See DS7186 for further
information)
