Product Name ALPHATEC 561
Description Solvent – free, two component modified epoxy base coating with
chemical resistance and tolerance to moisture characteristics.
When the mixed base resin and hardener of the system is fully cured,
the resulting product is non-hazardous.

4. FIRST AID MEASURES


 Eye Contact Thorough wash with water while eye/s are held open. Before rinsing
be sure to remove contact lenses, if any. Seek medical attention.
 Skin Contact Wash immediately with soap and water.
Remove contaminated clothing immediately.
 Ingestion Wash mouth with water; then seek medical attention.
Do not induce vomiting.
 Inhalation Remove from exposure, when exposed at length, seek medical
attention for a possible respiratory irritation

5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES


 Extinguishing Media Alcohol – resistant foam, carbon dioxide, dry chemical, dry sand or
Limestone powder
 Specific Hazards Incomplete combustion may form carbon monoxide
May generate ammonia gas.
May generate toxic nitrogen oxide gases
Burning produces noxious and toxic fumes
 Special Protective Avoid contact with the skin. A face shield should be worn. Use
Equipment for Fire-Fighters personal protective equipment. Wear self – contained breathing
apparatus for fire fighting if necessary.
 Further Information Do not allow run – off from fire fighting to enter drains or water
courses. Fire residues and contaminated fire extinguishing water must
be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES


 Personal Precautions Wear suitable gloves, skin, eye and face protection
 Environmental Take precaution to prevent contamination of ground and surface
waters. Do not flush into sewers or water drains.

 Handling Mix in a ventilated area. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid
breathing vapors. Adhere to work practice rules established by
government regulations.

When using, do not eat, drink or smoke.

Keep containers tightly closed in a dry and cool place.
Do not store with food stuffs.
