Invitation to Qualified and Experienced Training Consultants for Youth Entrepreneurship Training Service
Ethio Wetlands and natural Resources Association (EWNRA) is implementing a project entitled "Sustainable Living: Reduce Outmigration in Southern Oromia Region, Ethiopia", for three
consecutive years (from 2019 up to 2021) in Abaya and Gelana woredas of West Guji zone of Oromia regional state through financial support of Menschen fur Menschen Foundation,
Switzerland (MfMCH). Youth unemployment and outmigration is among the major problems identified by the project. Thus, one of the major objectives and activities of this project is
reducing youth unemployment through improving entrepreneurship skill and competence of jobless youth (girls and boys) and enhance their involvement in business.
The project invites consulting firms qualified and experienced in entrepreneurship trainings and accredited for their ability in producing young entrepreneurs. Among others, the project
needs consultants who have demonstrated experience in the last 10 years (at least 7 years of hands-on experience) in enabling unemployed youth by creating understanding:
- On the ways how to be an entrepreneur,
- How to identify business opportunities,
- Develop successful business plans and
- Engage in productive business activities.
Eligible and competent consultants can collect the ToR free of charge from EWNRA Main O ice located in Ethiopian Evangelical Church Mekane Yesus Head O ice Building, Bambis and
submit technical and financial proposals based on the ToR collected in tandem with renewed licence and credentials that show appropriate professional background. Documents that show
competence, qualification and years of experience of the training team such as CVs, testimonials and any other supportive documents are mandatory. The financial proposal should provide
cost breakdown per task and include work schedule. The training will be conducted in Guangua or DiIla town/s. EWNRA will provide transportation service to and from the project site
(training site). Therefore, the financial proposal should not include transportation and venue costs.
Eligible and competent training firms should submit technical and financial proposals in separate sealed envelopes before or as of December 25, 2019 at or before 4:00pm local time to the
address given hereunder. Regarding evaluation of the proposals, as a rule, EWNRA evaluates the two proposals, technical and financial proposals out of 70% and 30%, respectively, so as to
favour professional competency. It is also useful to note that technical proposals that score below 70% will be disqualified and not be considered for financial evaluation.
EWNRA reserves the right to cancel the bid partially or in full.
