Vibration in the chain may occur due to additional chain return reeving
arrangements (polygon effect).
Chain hoists with the hoist speed code V2 may, therefore, only be used in
applications after consultation with the manufacturer or his representative.
Kindly inform us about the operating conditions in the case of these
applications.
Depending on the speed, lifting height and the design of the load bearing
system, this vibration may be inconvenient in some applications.
Please clarify this matter in the case of critical applications.

Push travel trolley with Demag chain hoist DKUN with 1/1 reeving

Chain hoist
Removing/fitting
the trolley crossbar locknut Fix the limit stop to the 10th chain
If the locknut is completely removed from link at the dead (unloaded) end of
the crossbar, a new locknut acc. to the chain.
DIN 985 must be used.
The locknut can be screwed onto the
trolley crossbar for pre-assembly without
being pre-tensioned. 40964744.eps
For final assembly, only unscrew the lock
nut until the trolley can be placed on the
girder.
Then tighten the locknut with the specified
tightening torque.

Assembling the trolley Insert trolley crossbar (1) into side cheek (2) (see fig. 7). Then adjust the trolley accor-
ding to the girder flange width of the track by arranging the distance washers as
specified in the tables on pages 22 – 29, 32 – 33, 36 – 39.
EU11/EU22 DK: The locknut (3) must be tightened to the specified tightening torque
(see fig. 7).
Since girder flange width tolerances are relatively high, the gap between the travel
wheel flange and the girder flange must be checked on both sides to ensure that the
play does not exceed 2 mm.
Fitting the travel drive Knock the split sleeve into the hole in the side cheek (2). Then fill the travel drive with
grease – approx. 60 g DG 67B, part no. 011 058 44 – see fig. 7. Screw travel
drive (6) to side cheek (2) with screw (5).
Fit the travel drive in such a way that the play between the teeth of the drive pinion
and the two travel wheels is the same.
Removing/fitting the If the locknut is completely removed from the crossbar, a new locknut acc. to
trolley crossbar locknut DIN 985 must be used.
EU 11/EU 22 DK The locknut can be screwed onto the trolley crossbar for pre-assembly without being
pre-tensioned.
For final assembly, only unscrew the locknut until the trolley can be placed on the
girder.
Then tighten the locknut with th specified tightening torque (see fig. 7).
