CONCLUSION
 All climate based evapotranspiration equations performed well at Ashok Nagar station on monthly basis.
 Among Trabert equation was found best alternative to the Penman Monteith method on the correlation
basis.
 Where, Jansen –Haise equation performed well on the error basis under limited data availability.
 Hargreaves Samani equation was found poor performance on the basis of all statistical indices.
