The Micro/5-PXN is a user configurable microcontroller for use with Ordering Information
the full line of GE access control and alarm management software.

The Micro/5-PXN provides distributed processing for the interface of 110078001 16 DOR Micro/5 Option
access control readers, keypads, alarm inputs and outputs back to a 110101501 2SRP
host system computer. GE distributed processing allows each 110100501 8RP, Reader Processor, Micro/5
110063001 2RP Reader Processor
Micro/5-PXN microcontroller to operate independent of the host 110072003 20 DI Micro/5 Option
system computer with the majority of access control and alarm
monitoring decisions made locally at the microcontroller. The
Micro/5-PXN provides instant response for door control and alarm
sensing in the field, while leaving the host system computer with
more processing power for quickly executing daily operations such
as alarm response, database updates and reporting.
