Conkling Street to Norfolk Southern/Canton Railroad at Eastern Avenue – Option Descriptions

Option: Eastern/Fleet Street From Haven Street to Norfolk Southern Railroad Right-of-Way
The surface options on Eastern/Fleet Couplet are a continuation of the second lane out from the curb
couplets from Geographic Area 8. East of Haven Street, these options would turn northward onto the east
side of the currently inactive Norfolk Southern Railroad right-of-way.

Option: Eastern Avenue Tunnel

The tunnel option follows the alignment of Eastern Avenue to a tunnel
portal (Portal O) within the Norfolk Southern right-of-way at Pratt Street.

Option: Boston Street at Conkling Street to Norfolk Southern Railroad Right-of-Way

This option would follow the abandoned railroad right-of-way from Boston and Conkling Streets, cross Haven Street
at-grade and turn northwards and follow along the east side of the currently inactive Norfolk Southern right-of-way.
