SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY:

To all the LGU’s in Bantayan.

This will serve or a warning to all of you that your province is in danger and

Bantayan is prone in flooding. This research will surely give you or will serve you as

information.

To all the parents.

I conduct this because I want you to be aware of stinging trees if it is legal or

illegal. This would help you to have an information about this so that you have rights to

raise your voice, because of this research you may gain something about unlawful

stinging of trees, and to know what’s happening in your surrounding especially in the

forest.

To all Youth in Bantayan.

If some people would not give an action and would not obey the rules. Help me

conduct this research and to voice out the proper route of stinging trees.
SCOPE AND DELIMITATION:

This research covers the places within the town of Bantayan. This place is one of

the prone in flooding, because almost of the town are already have buildings and you

may not see any bio trees to absorb the flood, maybe you may see but seldom and

also, they don’t have a proper drainage in the town.

And the people who are affected in this situation they have possibility to have a

disease like dengue. And it is all about the improper drainage of floods and the

Unlawful stinging of trees form our forest.

GENERAL PROBLEM:

What are the reasons that unlawful stinging of trees are still happening within

our town?

SPECIFIC PROBLEM:

1. Why do people keeps on stinging of trees?

2. How can we voice out to the DENR the situation of Bantayanon facing until now?

3. How can we prevent the abusing of our forest?

INTERVIEW QUESTIONS:

1. What are the use of trees in our lives?

2. What are the effects of stinging trees without a concern or permit?

3. How can you assure that DENR can give 100% support and attention to the

problem you are facing right now?

4. What are the reasons why do people keeps abusing our forest?

5. How would you face the problem? Especially to the place where stinging of trees

occur and floods usually happen?

6. In order to prevent floods, how will you encourage your fellow Bantayanon to

prevent that kind of situation?

 CORRESPONDENT--A

Trees helps us a lot, because trees serves as our protection from all harms like floods,

landslides and heat. Trees also helps students like me because papers, pencils are

made up of trees also.

Somehow, stinging of trees are also harmful especially if it is not legal people without

concern or permit may prison for years or months. And if that would happen, what will

happen to their family if they are prison.

I can’t say that DENR can’t give us attention because from the first place it was there

fault not the DENR. The DENR gives there attention, but how could they give 100% if

they still cut trees in a secret way, so we individual must have an attention to our forest

not just only the DENR. They keeps abusing trees because trees helps us a lot.

Nowadays some houses are made up of wood and lots of things now are made up also

of wood so that, people now also are using wood because it helps us a lot as individual.

I would not face the problem by myself because I am not only the one living in

Bantayan, we Bantayanon would face the problem together, we are going to face it by

doing some actions. As one of the residence in Bantayan, I would encourage them

especially to those people that involves in illegal stinging of trees to stop stinging of

trees..

The use of trees in our lives is to supply oxygen and trees can control climate by

moderating the effects of floods. Stinging of trees can cause climate changes and it can

alter the climates in our town and the other one is it can make the temperature rise.

Lastly are lees of shade.

Support from the local government organization. But it is not always the organization

duty to remind people to disciplines themselves. Because they are free seminars is

already conducted to all barangay and communities to prevent cutting of trees.

People are abusing the forest is they will use the trees to convert into a wood and use

them to build houses and other materials that is related to wood.

To face that problem is to make an implementation about cutting of trees and

government must give a free seminars or orientation about our environmental issues, in

other hand people are people’s loss not the DENR.

In order to prevent floods is to plant more trees and put more drainage.

Trees are the main source of oxygen we can use it for our daily life such as paper,

pencil, and furniture’s. Trees are very useful to us as individuals, but everyone are

abusing our nature because they don’t have concerns or permit from the government.

I can’t assure that DENR can give 100% support t this problem because the number

one who cut trees are the mining companies and the owner of mining companies are

those who are in power in our government.

Because people are not contented what they have so they last more and trees are the

number one source of our daily needs.

The government should be first to face this problem as people is that particular area

will help.

The best way to help is will encourage then to plant trees and encouraging other people

such as family, friends and others.

Provides clear air to breathe, specifically oxygen and converts Co2 to usable gas called

oxygen and have shelter for those who need it and it serves as habitat for animals.

There are lots of effects of deforestation. Flash flood will occur soil erosion will occur

also and lost of habitat. If DENR will assign mountain rangers to monitor the condition

of our flora and fauna.

People keeps on abusing our forest is it because no disciplines, lack of awareness and

for furniture purposes as well we going to face this problem by coordinating to the LGU

report this problem and we as individual who are suffering this issue we should report is

into the authorities. In order to prevent this authorities should raise lands and it

possible we should plant trees an there must be a height requirements and that plant

will be forward to the LGU so that the LGU will responsible to take care of a after we’ve

toward the plant.

Well trees make oxygen and these elements is essential to our day to day lives because

we breathe oxygen. Also, trees absorb carbon dioxide which if us humans inhale

excessively can also be toxic to the human body. Also, trees have other uses for

example woods for materials, various part have purpose and the best we eat fruit in

some fruit bearing trees.

Trees can be abused and if that happens trees can be cut down to extinction, and

without trees humanity is doomed.

DENR is not enough, all of us that I mean individually, every single soul to act on this,

this is our fight to live, we cannot just rely on government alone, we when united can

make a change by simply putting “planting trees” as our addictive habit.

Usually people cut down trees for the materials they are used for, or they are cutting

down for individual purposes either for land or something huge or for business.

Face the problem as real problem, boiling and is ready to blow of the steam. That is we

do not act now it might be too late for us. Let people know the consequences of their

actions.

I would encourage my family to the idea of how cutting down trees can affect all of us,

they’re from my family’s circle to the community, the barangay, the municipality and so

on so forth. Dissipate the information for the people to know that the threat is real.
